As a full-time Auto Repair Mechanic, you will work a standard schedule from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday . This allows you to maintain a healthy work-life balance with your weekends free.


YOUR DAY-TO-DAY AS OUR AUTO REPAIR MECHANIC

As an Auto Repair Mechanic, your day will begin by reviewing the day's digital work orders and setting up your workstation with the necessary tools. You will perform a range of services, including automotive maintenance, vehicle inspection, troubleshooting, diagnostics, wheel and suspension service, and A/C maintenance. Throughout the day, you will diagnose and repair a variety of vehicles, including hybrid and electric models like Teslas depending on your certification levels. Using modern diagnostic tools and equipment, you will efficiently address automotive issues, ensuring a high standard of service for each customer. You will also maintain a clean and organized work area, keeping up to date with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.

  • Maintain the service department schedule and slot appointments for vehicle repairs

  • Follow up on each repair and keep customers informed of the progress
  • Sell and manage extended warranties
  • Inspect repair quality and ensure that all work is complete
  • Notify customers when vehicles are ready for pickup
  • Review and explain repairs and associated costs to customers
  • Handle minor customer concerns and complaints
  • Keep the Service Manager informed of all problems and potential problems
  • Maintain Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores by dealership standards
Qualifications:
  • Stellar communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are needed
  • Work history should include a service advisor role or other employment-related to automotive technology
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, and other basic computer programs is necessary
  • A high school diploma or GED is required
  • Possession of a valid, state-issued driver’s license and clean driving record is integral
