This position will support the Veterans Administration (VA) and its interagency partners at the Department of Defense (DoD) with the Transition Assistance Program (TAP) program. The person in this position will represent International SOS Government Medical Services, Inc. and provide services outlined below:
International SOS Government Medical Services, Inc. is looking for an individual who is an experienced Benefits Advisor to provide transition assistance, information, training, counseling, and services to eligible service members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct transition activities in support of the VA.
- Provide transition support.
- Conducting standardized VA Benefits and Services Briefings.
- Perform one-on-one engagements.
- Provide pre-separation counseling support.
- Conduct military life cycle (MLC) events, Capstone events, and warm-handover support.
- Serve as an entry-level instructor delivering established curriculum, training tools, and ensuring course content and delivery methods follow established training objectives.
- Participate in weekly Site Lead Meetings.
- Execute Quality Management Activities at assigned installation and across the program.
- Deliver onsite activities and execute post-event data collection activities.

- Travel may be included.

Qualifications

- Have an understanding of transitioning service member populations.
- Have experience using Microsoft Office Suite of tools.
- Possess strong customer management and support skills.
- Have experience delivering interactive workshops and training in live audiences.
- Have understanding of current veteran issues and challenges pre- and post-transition.
- Bachelor's Degree or 3 years equivalent work/military experience.

**BUSINESS OPERATIONS MANAGER - Veterans Affairs**
Seize your opportunity to make a personal impact as a Business Operations Manager supporting GDIT's Veterans Affairs contracts. GDIT is your place to make meaningful contributions to challenging projects and grow a rewarding career. The successful candidate will support the execution of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Conversion Services (CS) contract, with a focus on improving response time to Veteran benefit requests through the digitization of Veteran records. The candidate will have extensive knowledge and background in financial management, with specific experience building systems and processes that accumulate data and can support information management and decision making on the contract. Experience managing program controls, performing data mining/analysis, and ensuring administrative functions are performed in compliance with contract requirements is necessary. The Business Operations Manager will work with the Program Manager, Deputy Program Manager, Operations Lead, Requirements Manager, and across the program to support all aspects of program delivery for CS. Additionally, the candidate will engage with GDIT functional support in Contracts, Subcontracts, Finance, and other required areas as needed.
Duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
+ Lead a team of PMO professionals in coordinating the successful completion of PMO tasks
+ Implement and document robust processes and guidance for business processes both internal to GDIT and external-facing to the Customer and subcontractor partners
+ Engage with Customer through VA e-mail and Teams to provide meaningful support and responses to inquiries
+ Coordinate the routine review and identification of program risks through maintenance and dissemination of the program Risk Register, facilitating monthly Risk Meetings with the Customer
+ Support action item management through ensuring maintenance and routine review/update of program Action Item tracker
+ Capture and report on quantity-based performance metrics used to track core project functions for status reporting and invoicing
+ Provide oversight for all subcontract actions, (GDIT) supply chain purchases, hiring and VA on-boarding activities, and administrative travel tracking tasks
+ Utilize professional judgement, critical thinking skills, and research to improve project processes and resolve issues affecting project performance, utilizing continuous process improvement and implementing lessons learned where applicable
+ Manage contract deliverables to ensure high quality and on-time submissions
+ Work with Program Manager and Deputy Program Manager to utilize GDIT enterprise data management systems and tools (OBIEE, AP Web Query, KOFAX Markview, SC360, BPM, Concur) in creating an integrated tracker for full life cycle of program finances at the prime and subcontractor levels
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, with at least 5 years of additional experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
+ 6+ years of progressive experience supporting project or program management roles where program information must be collected, aggregated, analyzed and presented in graphically, textually, and verbally
+ 6+ years of experience performing or being responsible for the following tasks: project or program finance, scheduling, staffing, security/access procedures, meeting facilitation, Customer interaction, status reporting, deliverables, subcontracting, bill of materials, and/or travel management
+ 6+ years working with technical database development teams as a requirement owner participating in design or development decisions
+ 6+ years of experience in Federal Government contracting, with knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and GDIT acquisition policies and procedures
+ 3+ years managing a team responsible for PMO or finance-related tasking
+ Proficiency with GDIT enterprise data management systems (Oracle/OBIEE, AP WebQuery, KOFAX Markview, SC360, BPM, Concur)
+ Must have moderate Microsoft Excel skills to include proficiency in data management (sorting, filtering, performing matches and lookups), utilizing a range of formula functions, creating and using pivot tables, and creating charts and graphs
+ Demonstrated experience supporting a Government entity, with knowledge of the proper workflows for prime contract modifications, subcontract modifications, and de-obligations
+ Demonstrated experience building and maintaining EAC calculations
+ Must demonstrate critical thinking skills to resolve operational issues and identify risks and mitigation
+ Must have outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively as a representative of GDIT to internal business leaders, Government Customers, and subcontractor leadership
+ Ability to obtain a Position of Trust and successfully pass a thorough Government background screening process requiring the completion of detailed forms and fingerprinting

The likely salary range for this position is $127,500 - $172,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
