Key Requirements:
  • 10+ years' experience managing high performance engineering teams of more than 20 engineers, including managers
  • Experience defining, developing, and delivering scalable, end-to-end cloud-based B2B or B2B2C SaaS, PaaS and/or Marketplace products.
  • Player/coach mentality with the ability to roll up their sleeves
  • Experience leading a product migration

Versant Media is seeking a strategic and experienced VP, Software Engineering to lead the teams responsible for building and maintaining our core digital products and platforms. This is a critical leadership role that will oversee the back-end, front-end, mobile, and quality assurance functions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of software development across the full stack, with a proven ability to manage high-performing engineering teams and drive complex, cross-functional projects. This person will be a key leader in modernizing our technology stack, including the unification of various Content Management Systems (CMS) and the implementation of a new Media Asset Management (MAM) platform.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Software Architecture & Technical Vision
+ Define and execute the technical strategy for all software engineering functions, ensuring alignment with the company's business goals and product roadmaps.
+ Drive the modernization and unification of our digital platforms, including the consolidation of various content management systems into a new headless WordPress CMS.
+ Oversee the implementation of a new MAM system to streamline content workflows and asset management across the enterprise.
Engineering Management & Development
+ Direct the development of scalable and reliable back-end services, APIs, and SDKs that power our digital properties.
+ Lead the front-end and mobile engineering teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, performant, and intuitive user experiences.
+ Champion a developer productivity function by identifying and implementing tools, processes, and automation that streamline workflows, reduce friction, and enhance the overall efficiency of the engineering organization.
+ Foster a culture of engineering excellence, emphasizing code quality, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), and operational efficiency.
Quality Assurance & Automation
+ Lead the qauality assurance function, with a strong emphasis on automation to ensure the quality and stability of all software releases.
+ Develop and implement a robust testing strategy that includes unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end automation to minimize bugs and improve development velocity.
Team Leadership & Mentorship
+ Manage, mentor, and grow a team of talented engineering managers and individual contributors.
+ Foster a collaborative and innovative environment, promoting professional growth and knowledge sharing across all engineering disciplines.

Versant Media is seeking a highly experienced and visionary VP, Production Engineering to lead the teams responsible for the technical backbone of our media operations. This is a critical leadership role that will oversee the development and technical support for all media systems, ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and scalability of content delivery across our live broadcast, digital streaming, and on-demand platforms. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with a deep understanding of media technology and a proven track record of managing high-performing engineering teams in a fast-paced media environment.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Broadcast & On-Air Applications
+ Lead the team that provides Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support for all media operations, ensuring rapid and effective resolution of complex issues to maintain business continuity.
+ Oversee the entire lifecycle from design and development to testing and maintenance of technology systems that support live broadcast, streaming, and on-air content delivery.
+ Direct the technical support for media and production functions, including post-production workflows, content ingest, and digital asset management systems.
Video Engineering & Streaming Platforms
+ Lead the strategy, development, and support for all live and VOD streaming experiences, including web, mobile applications, and connected TV devices.
+ Oversee the entire video pipeline, from encoding and transcoding to packaging and distribution, ensuring high-quality and low-latency delivery.
+ Manage the technical relationship with content delivery networks (CDNs) and streaming vendors, optimizing performance and cost to deliver a world-class viewer experience.
+ Direct the technical implementation of DRM, ad insertion, and analytics solutions for all digital video platforms.
Production & Post-Production Support
+ Oversee the technical support and development of media production, post-production, and content ingest systems.
+ Lead the technical strategy and implementation of new workflows and technologies to enhance the efficiency and scalability of these core media functions.
Implementation & Delivery
+ Direct delivery systems to ensure content is distributed securely, reliably, and with minimal latency across broadcast and digital platforms.
+ Implement standard processes to ensure consistency, compliance and efficiency across production environments.
+ Develop and support technical processes and systems that facilitate the seamless delivery of broadcast content from our production facilities to end viewers.
Strategic Leadership
+ Provide strategic direction for the Production Engineering department, aligning technical initiatives with broader company goals for innovation and agility.

As a Vice President, you will:
- Work on complex Foundry wide initiatives spanning multiple services/programs and drive resolution.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in software development experience with a strong track record of delivering enterprise-grade solutions.
- Desired strong knowledge of card ecosystem including, Loyalty, Clearing, Fraud, Disputes, Issuer, Acquirer & Merchant domains.
- Deep understanding of software engineering concepts, methodologies, and Agile/SAFe Agile practices.
