Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive direct sales experience, including international markets.
  • 7+ years in a sales leadership role, ideally within a technical or engineering-driven industry.
  • Strong understanding of technical solutions, ideally supported by an engineering background.
  • Exceptional communication, mentorship, and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Adept at using CRM/ERP tools and platforms that support data analysis and market insights.
  • Ability to have some occupational travel <25% if necessary.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Technical sales acumen is preferred.

+ Lead and drive the internal proposal process throughout the sales phase between inside and outside sales personnel and representatives, project management, design engineering, aftermarket, and supply chain. + BS in Engineering or another related field.
+ Experience in Heat Exchangers, centrifugal air/gas turbo-expander/turbo-compressor / turboexpander-gear-generator or other rotating equipment
+ 2 years of experience in bidding/proposal preparation and the ability to read and understand bid/proposal specifications, both from a technical perspective and commercial perspective, as related to Contractual Terms and Conditions
+ Competent in reading technical drawings including P&IDs
+ Experience with API & ASME codes

+ Repetitive hand movement of both hands with the ability to make fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists.

**Compensation and Benefits**
The salary pay range estimated for this position Director, Account Manager based inNorth Carolina is $137,900.00-$229,800.00.
