Our client, a prominent non-profit organization, is seeking a passionate and experienced Director of Community Engagement and Volunteer Management. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to make a significant impact from anywhere. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to foster strong community relationships, attract, train, and retain volunteers, and drive engagement with our mission. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in community organizing, volunteer coordination, non-profit management, and exceptional interpersonal skills.

- Develop and manage the budget for community engagement and volunteer programs.
- Represent the organization at community events and public forums.
- Create compelling content for newsletters, social media, and other communication materials to highlight volunteer impact and community involvement.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures related to volunteer management.
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Public Administration, Non-profit Management, Communications, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in community engagement, volunteer management, or non-profit program leadership.
- Proven experience in recruiting, training, and managing volunteers.
- Strong understanding of community organizing principles and best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and public speaking skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and partnerships with diverse groups.
- Proficiency in volunteer management software and CRM systems is a plus.
- Experience in event planning and coordination.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and thrive in a remote, mission-driven environment.
