We are currently seeking a Vice President/Director of Dealer Analytics to drive OneMain's strategic initiatives on growing the Auto Finance business through the expansion and management of the auto dealer channel and the field sales force.
As a key member of the Analytics and Marketing leadership team, this individual will be responsible for driving business results through multiple areas including growth strategies, performance analysis and optimization, risk management, and enhanced dealer experiences in our Auto product. Strategies driven and influenced by this leader and their team include but are not limited to territory and dealer prospect analysis to understand size of the market and potential market share, developing scorecards to measure dealer channel performance and identifying low and high performers, dealer risk management to drive the right application selection and performance, and building a strategic loyalty program to increase market share with the best dealers. The role will very closely partner with our Head of Auto Sales to provide granular business insights on territories, dealers and the sales force. They will support the channel performance through a combination of strategic thinking and data-driven insights.
Working with various partners, the role will also have responsibilities for strategy implementation and support working with Sales, Technology, Credit/Pricing and Operations. They will be required to perform competitive intelligence and performance monitoring. This individual will represent the company and engage with key business stakeholders, dealers, and external partners.
A successful candidate will utilize skills that enable them to be versatile and successfully lead initiatives across multiple disciplines. They will bring new ways of thinking, data sources, technologies, and capabilities to our business.
Key Responsibilities

Develop key insights to select the right territories and dealerships for a phased approach to growing our geographical footprint in Auto

Design, recommend, document, and execute dealer performance management strategies to manage credit and fraud risk and drive profitability

Design and implement a strategic dealer loyalty program in close partnership with Sales and other key business partners to increase share of business with best dealers

Partner with other leaders to define business priorities, align talent and resources, and communicate progress to executive leadership

Use new data sources, analytical frameworks, and models to create insights, draw conclusions, and influence at all levels of the organization

Elevate talent within team through effective hiring, coaching, and mentoring team members
Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative discipline (Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Business Management, or Computer Science)

8+ years of experience in consumer lending, driving informative risk decisions through analyses; Master's or PHD degrees may offset experience

5+ years of analytics leadership experience, building and prioritizing teams and objectives based on company strategy

Advanced analytical skillset using tools such as SQL, SAS, or Python

Innovative and capable of developing creative solutions to complex, data-driven problems

- Conduct financial analysis and develop strategic plans to support organizational growth.
- Prepare and oversee regulatory reporting to ensure compliance with state and federal requirements.
- Utilize QuickBooks and fundraising platforms like Little Green Light for accounting and financial tracking.
- Identify and implement process improvements, including consulting on potential software upgrades.

- Generate and present financial reports, including month-end close documentation.
- Analyze operational results and provide clear explanations to stakeholders.
