This position provides clerical and administrative support to the Fulfillment Department, which includes Warehouse and Purchasing. This position also receives, inventories, and packages shipments ensuring accuracy and damage-free transport to destination. Provides general warehouse support including assembling kits, organizing, and cleaning. Operates under direct supervision of the Warehouse Manager.
Responsibilities
Major Job Activities:
- Prepares, routes, and processes Project Change Requests - Reviews, research, and codes vendor invoices for billing. Addresses discrepancies with applicable parties - Verifies shipping addresses and instructions with internal and external customers - Processes inventory transfers, Purchase Order receipts, and inventory returns in various systems - Provides updates regarding shipment status to internal and external customers
- Maintains electronic and hardcopy filing systems of purchasing- and shipment-related data- Prepare reports and documentation for meetings- Pulls, stages, and packs equipment for shipment in accordance with project details and standard operating procedures, ensuring contents are accurate and adequately protected from damage- Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with Warehouse Manager and Purchasing staff to rectify damages and shortages- Compare identifying information, counts, weights, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify invoices, orders, and other records- Marks or labels material with part numbers/bar coding for proper identification and places in designated storage area- Determines appropriate method of shipment if not specified, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates- Prepares repair orders, commercial bills of landing, and other shipping documents as needed- Assembles and packages installation kits in accordance with the bill of materials- Assists in loading and unloading delivery trucks- Assists in the monthly physical inventory process and cycle counts when required- Operates forklift (upon certification), pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment- Maintains the warehouse in a clean, neat, organized, and safe manner- Serves as backup to Warehouse Administrative Clerk- Serves as backup to Warehouse Manager- Performs other duties as required

Receive, catalogue, stage, and ship NE&TO network equipment to and from the NE&TO Logistics and Staging Facility.
Specific Duties:
Inspection, cataloguing, and visual identification, of network routers, DWDM (dense wave division multiplexing) equipment, optical & ethernet devices, CMTS (cable modem terminating systems) components, servers, storage devices, video equipment, CDV (voice over IP) telephony equipment, associated IRM (installation related material) such as cable, connectors, etc.
Assemble and disassemble modules, power supplies, and processors in Network routers, CMTS devices, and Optical equipment to meet engineering standards.
Complete hardware configuration, pre-staging of server power supplies, drives, and memory to meet engineering standards according to work orders.
Assembly of DWDM/Ethernet/Sonet modules and pluggable components and line cards.
Assemble deployment readiness kits.
Utilize proper ESD handling procedures when working with electronic equipment.
Coordinate closely with Senior Inventory Control and Deployment Engineering on equipment deployment requests.
Assist Staging Lab Engineers in populating Routers, Switches and Servers as needed.
Responsible for the accountability of all assets held in the NE&TO Logistics and Staging Facility inventory and the accuracy of the warehouse database above a 98% level at all times, valued at over $75M.
As instructed, complete accurate and timely receipt of equipment against packing slips and purchase orders.
Operate forklift to load and unload trucks delivering or picking up equipment.
Support with the verification of packing slips for received equipment and the timely submission of packing slips to Business Operations.
Aid with the coordination of asset recoveries of decommissioned equipment to be redeployed.
Experience and Qualifications:

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, excel and PowerPoint.
Basic understanding of network architectures involving access and core-level switch-routers, servers, and cable modem termination systems (CMTSs).
Familiar with equipment interconnections and interoperability.
