Summary - basic function of the role
The primary function of this position is to help shipping pull orders and receiving organize returns. Major responsibilities of this position include maintaining a clean facility and assisting in moving/organizing assets.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday; overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required as well as participation in the on-call rotation

Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Support shipping with pulling orders and maintaining the supporting documentation.
- Support receiving by taking the returned product to the correct bay to be repaired.
- Support repair cells with moving equipment between cells and returning repaired equipment to the bays.
- Maintain a clean facility by sweeping floors and running the Zamboni.
- Manage paint touch ups.
- Assist in maintaining equipment in the correct bays.
- Drive continuous improvement, 5s, and other workplace housekeeping duties.
- Carry out driving duties in accordance with the Company's requirements.
- Adhere to the company's procedures in relation to quality management and environment systems.
- Adhere to the Company's Safety Procedures and Policies.
- If required, will possibly need to pass forklift & other driving functions as specified to job sit.
Skills and Competencies
- Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Warehouse experience is preferred.
- Forklift certification is preferred
Physical Demands
Employee may have to lift documents/work materials up to 30 pounds in weight. Employee may have to lift tools up to 100 pounds in weight. Employee will have to be able to walk/climb to a variety of primary work locations, this can include occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles, and the like. Employee may move themselves in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces. Employee will need to move about to accomplish tasks or move from one worksite to another. Employee will need to operate machinery and/or power tools, motor vehicles, and heavy equipment. Employee will need to listen, understand, and speak with team members in person, telephonically, and electronically at all levels within a diverse workforce and with supported organizations. Employee will need to assess the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned. Employee can work in front of a personal computer and telephone for long periods of time. Will have repetitive motions that include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
Work Environment
Employee's work is a typical warehouse environment which is subject to loud noise, various temperatures, outdoor elements (such as precipitation and wind), poor ventilation, small and/or enclosed spaces, and workplace hazards. Basic PPE is required during work hours: safety glasses, gloves, and steel toe boots.

SUMMARY: The Warehouse Assistant - Driver is responsible for the timely and accurate delivery and pick-up of customer products. In addition, this person will also assist with general Warehouse duties as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Personally exhibits, recruits and coaches associate consistent with Core Behaviors
- Responsible for promoting culture of safety
- Deliver and pick-up customer products in a timely manner
- Perform daily safety inspections
- Verify signatures and appropriate paperwork is collected
- Notify appropriate supervisory personnel of any discrepancies in a timely manner
- Receive and verify incoming shipments against packing slips
- Accurately sort, maintain, and stage product
- Put away stock ensuring proper labeling and placement
- Receive purchase orders, pick product and package for shipping
- Check items to be shipped against picking ticket to assure quantities, destinations and routing are correct
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Perform all work in accordance with ISO processes and procedures
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be proficient with knowledge of routes
- Must have strong customer service skills
- Must have excellent time management skills
- Must be able to communicate effectively
- Must have knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma required
- No previous experience is required; 1-3 years' experience is preferred

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- Must have valid driver’s license
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Employee is regularly required to speak and hear English, stand, walk, sit, use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms. Employees are required to use computers or other equipment.

The Warehouse Assistant/Driver assists with all warehouse duties including but not limited to processing incoming stock and materials, receiving/packing/shipping orders, stocking and organizing warehouse materials, fulfilling orders of material to be loaded/unloaded onto trucks for delivery to construction project sites. The Warehouse Assistant/Driver delivers equipment and materials to and from job sites both locally and extended distances (long distance travel typically requires overnight lodging).
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of two (2) years of warehouse experience performing similar duties, preferably in the construction industry.
- A preferred working knowledge MS Office Suite.
- Licensing/Registration/Certification: Required - Must be at least twenty-one (21) years old with valid auto insurance coverage and possess valid CA Commercial Driver’s License, Class A or B, with a clean driving record.
• Required: Current DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate.
• Desired: Required: Certified Forklift Operator Certificate.

• Works collaboratively with office staff and outside personnel or subcontractors, ensuring they are each aware of the job requirements.
• Knowledge of inventory systems and controls to ensure accurate stocking levels.
• Must be reliable and dependable since many people are counting on this person to fulfill their duties and responsibilities.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Examines shipment contents and compares with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy.
- Prepares orders by processing requests, pulling materials, packing boxes, placing orders in delivery area, loading and unloading trucks, and safely securing loads.
- Maintains appearance of truck and completes daily electronic driver logs and safety inspections per FMCSA/DOT regulations.
- Maintains accurate records for credit card and other company related expenses. Submits required monthly reports.
- Completes required accurate documentation on transfer requests.
- Adheres to detailed trip plan schedule including motel reservations when completing long distance deliveries.
- Prepares job site materials and equipment for future orders.
Working Conditions:
- This position will be working primarily indoors in a construction firm environment, but also may require the employee to travel to the field. From this movement, the employee will encounter varying weather conditions and temperatures. The normal travel hazards may apply. Travel may be in all types of weather including heavy rain and below freezing temperatures with snow conditions.
