You'll Go The Extra Mile If You Have:
+ Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
+ PIE Operation: Prior experience operating Power Industrial Equipment like forklifts, electric pallet jacks, reach trucks and stackers.
+ Exceptional Communication: Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
+ High Volume: Prior warehouse experience in a high-volume distribution or logistics environment.
Physical Requirements:
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. while pushing, pulling, lifting, bending and stooping and using lifting techniques and moving loads
+ Ability to work in a fast paced environment
+ Ability to work overtime
+ Constantly required to stand, walk, climb stairs, reach kneel, crouch and crawl
+ Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust and focus
+ Ability to hear safety horns, PIE horns, pre-shift announcements/safety messages, pages, and voxware picking with a headset
+ Ability to work in a Safety Sensitive environment, including navigating moving conveyors, heights, and always maintaining awareness of surroundings with quick reaction time to hazardous conditions
Compensation Range: $20.25 to $1.00 per hour with shift differentials, if applicable.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

1. Receives and inventories products shipped to the warehouse by common carriers.

2. Maintains and files paperwork received from common carriers.

3. Rotates products according to company guidelines.

4. Unloads trucks with fresh products.

5. Maintains a clean and organized work area. 

6. Follows company safety guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices.

7. Regular attendance and punctuality is required due to working with people, items and equipment that are at the facility.

Job Specifications

1. Forklift experience is required.

2. Warehouse experience is preferred. 

3. Must be able to read, write, and speak English and be understood.

4. English/Spanish bilingual is a plus.

Working Conditions

1. Warehouse environment.

2. The environment may be wet or dry and temperatures may range from 25°F to 110°F.

3. Repetitive lifting, kneeling, and bending with packages in excess of 80 lbs is required.

4. Production demands may require overtime and/or evening or weekend scheduling.

Compensation

$19.40 - $24.25 Non-Exempt (Hourly)
