**A Day in The Life of a Warehouse Associate**
As a Warehouse Associate you will be responsible for performing warehouse tasks including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, wire cutting, light assembly, as well as general maintenance of assigned areas.

**Education & Experience**

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Assists Warehouse Management with daily warehouse business activities and planning as well as supervising, holding team meetings, setting expectations, being on the floor inspecting what you expect and holding team accountable, completing mid-year and year-end performance reviews, coaching, and all areas of ensuring team effectiveness and teamwork.
· Optimizing storage of purchased materials.
· Efficient transportation and supply of components to production lines.
· Ensuring accurate shipment of finished goods to customers.
· Efficient storage of stock.
· Accountable for obtaining goods/services required by the organization.
· Tracking and improving delivery performance to customers.
· Adapts departmental plans and priorities to meet short-term challenges.
· Working with Product and Service Sourcing.
· Assists with supplier selections.
· Assists with pricing and terms negotiations.
· Experience in contract administration and supplier performance management.
· Responsible for strategic sourcing.
· Develops and administers schedules, performance requirements; may have budget responsibilities.
· Interacts frequently with internal personnel and outside representatives at various levels.
· Participates and presents at meetings with internal and external representatives.
· Interaction typically concerns resolution of operational and scheduling issues.

Indicators are attendance records, number of times tardy, frequency of lateness returning from scheduled breaks or meal times, work readiness, and preparedness to begin work on time. (Three unexcused tardies equals one unexcused absence)

Indicators include the following established procedures, documenting essential processes, preparing accurate, timely, legible, and complete reports. Education and/or Experience                                                   

High school diploma or GED minimum.

Language Skills                                                

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  May require the ability to write routine reports and correspondence.   May require the ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills                                                       

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  

Reasoning Ability                                             

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.  Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills                                                

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of and basic computer skills.

Other Qualifications

A minimum of two years’ experience on material handling equipment (forklift) is required; must have proficient math skills.
