BASIC PURPOSE
The Coordinator, Warehouse will perform activities that support inbound, outbound, and general warehouse operations to ensure timely delivery and scheduling of freight and proper distribution of warehouse items. Activities include data entry, preparation and distribution of reports, and record maintenance.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
Duties may include but are not limited to general warehouse, inbound and/or outbound functions. Duties may vary depending on shift.
General warehouse:
+ Ensure optimal warehouse operations by preparing and processing routine forms, reports, and documents (inbound documents, outbound documents, discrepancy reports, stock and damage claims, time sheets, requisitions, shipping labels, etc.) following standard procedures.
+ Communicate with internal and external customers to support staff and customer needs. Respond to inquiries and telephone calls. Respond to requests by researching information.
+ Collect, track, and input data on relevant operations metrics to support tracking warehouse performance, including shorts, mispicks, dump/damage, service level, associate over-time.
+ Other duties as assigned by manager.
Inbound:
+ Schedule receiving appointments with vendors for all inbound freight according to warehouse capacities to support proper inbound warehouse functioning. Prepare and update Delivery Appointment sheet daily for receiving department.
+ Complete inbound freight processes by performing inbound driver check-in and check-out.
+ Ensure warehouse readiness for receiving by assigning receiving doors for inbound carriers.
+ Prepare purchase orders for receiving and confirm purchase orders.
Outbound:
+ Support night warehouse functions by checking returns and credit slips and assembling returned orders for proper return to picking slot. Investigate picking errors and find missing products.
+ Interact with warehouse personnel to solve selecting and shipping issues.
+ Complete outbound paperwork and reports including documents for selecting crew, route loading, drivers, and trucks received at night; Update the master storage report.

**WORK ENVIRONMENT**
+ The work will take place at a desk in a US Foods office-based environment but may occasionally require work in normal warehouse environments including cooler and freezer areas where temperatures may be as low as -5 degrees.
**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**
Related Experience/Requirements:
+ Minimum of two years of experience in warehouse & delivery procedures required.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
+ Effective communication both verbally and in writing.
+ Excellent telephone and customer service ability.
+ Strong math, analytical, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
+ Basic computer skills with a good knowledge of programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
+ Problem solving and critical thinking abilities to solve problems of limited scope.
+ Strong teamwork skills with the ability to support others in the department and division.
Education
+ High school diploma or GED/equivalent required.

**Essential Job Functions**
· Develop warehouse operation's systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, and creates processes for receiving product, equipment utilization, inventory management, and shipping.
· Create warehouse design by planning layout, product flow, and product handling systems; evaluating and recommending new equipment.
· Comply with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.

**Qualifications:**

**Job Purpose**
The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for ensuring each crew and/or jobsite is set up with the appropriate company, government, and customer documents as well as safety equipment, small tools, equipment, and traffic control items. This position assures warehouse operations run effectively and efficiently, assisting field and safety personnel in maintaining a safe work environment as well as assisting with training and job site safety audits. + Assist field operations personnel by informing PA One Call of upcoming jobs to ensure site properly marked for all utilities.
+ Serve as backup role in Equipment Manager's absence.
+ Interact with mechanics and may allocate mechanics to projects accordingly.
+ Maintain sole responsibility for Directional Drill inventory, including maintaining inventory data in JDE.
+ Work with Accounting staff on monthly basis in the audit process related to the inventory.
+ Facilitate scheduling for truck drivers as well as obtains and maintains heavy equipment permits.
+ Receive and complete accident/incident reports from the jobsite(s) and forward the documentation to Safety personnel.
+ Deal directly with customers and vendors.
+ Perform maintenance duties for the office location, warehouse, and shop.
+ Assume lead role in pre-employment and random drug testing processes.
+ Ensure Employment Application paperwork and New Employee Orientation (NEO) paperwork is completed and processed in a timely manner.

+ Modify and maintain purchase orders in relevant system.
Responsible for physical inventory and POS materials
+ Purging of outdated/perishable materials and/or inbound shipment tracking and updates.
+ Partner with warehouse leadership and/or buyers to resolve discrepancies.
+ Preparation and filing of POS materials, invoices, and/or dealer loader items for delivery to accounts or sales rep pick-ups and check-ins.
Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder's supervisor, may also be required.
