POSITION SUMMARY
This position is a highly skilled technician in Manhattan SCALE with the expertise and experience to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Manhattan Associates' SCALE (Supply Chain Architected for Logistics Execution) WMS solution. The ideal candidate will have deep technical and functional knowledge of Manhattan SCALE and experience delivering solutions in complex warehouse and distribution center environments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead end-to-end implementation and support of Manhattan SCALE solutions across multiple Distribution Centers and Branch locations.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, configure the WMS, and optimize workflows.
- Perform system integration, testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Train end users, prepare documentation, and provide ongoing support.
- Monitor WMS system health, resolve incidents, and proactively suggest improvements.
- Maintain information confidentiality and security. Protect and prevent unauthorized attempts to obtain information.
- Monitor and report progress and status of assigned projects following established department guidelines.
- Provide technical support as needed across the organization.
- Provide end user support and troubleshooting of issues related to the Manhattan SCALE system, ensuring timely and effective resolution, and identifying proactive measures to prevent future issues.
- Collaborate with other team members to provide escalated support and troubleshooting assistance.
- Utilize technical knowledge of the Manhattan SCALE application to support system upgrades and patches as well as implementation of new features, system customizations and modules.
- Participate as a team member and technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) on larger projects that include SAP and SCALE.
- Adhere to established project management methodology, SDLC, support and service management policies and procedures.
- All other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
- Preferred 3-6 years of hands-on technical experience with 3+ years of software development experience working with enterprise applications in a business capacity.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, logistics, and supply chain principles.
- Proficient in .NET (C# or VB.NET) , SQL Server , and Manhattan Integrator or SCI (Supply Chain Intelligence) .
- Experience with EDI, RF device integration, label printing, and automation interfaces.
- Highly motivated, self-directed and results driven with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Strong problem-solving skills including demonstrated ability to analyze issues and to work effectively with cross functional groups to craft solutions.
- Curiosity and passion for delivering high quality and innovative technical solutions.
Pay: $80,000/yr.
Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and, in some instances, may include education, skills, work experience and certifications. You may also be eligible to participate in an annual incentive bonus. An incentive bonus, if any, depends on various factors such as organizational performance.

ABOUT THE JOB
The IT Applications Manager for Warehouse Management Systems will leverage people, processes and technologies to deliver high performing, WMS solutions for the logistics business. This person will serve as the primary point of contact for any WMS IT projects and enhancements as well as act as the escalation point for production issues. Success in this role requires a solid technical foundation as well as the ability to communicate and collaborate well with business stakeholders and other IT functions.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
(% of time may vary depending on assignments/projects) WMS Technology Platform- Oversee the operations of the WMS technology team and any 3rd party service providers. Ensure resources are fully leveraged and deliver high quality solutions.
- Serve as the IT stakeholder for WMS related projects and partner with the PMO to ensure there is proper resource allocation and there is business alignment to scope.
- Lead regular prioritization and backlog review meetings with the business stakeholders; ensure roadmaps and release schedules align to business priorities.
- Continuously look for opportunities to improve existing functionality and leverage existing features to help the business be more efficient and effective; Research additional technologies that may be a competitive advantage for the business.
- Ensure end-user, system documentation is updated and complete and work with the business leads to ensure there is continuity between business standard operating procedure and system documentation.
- Oversee and maintain the budget for all WMS technologies including software licensing, software maintenance, hardware devices and 3rd party service providers.
- Ensure adherence to GSF’s IT policies and procedure such as production change approval, software development lifecycle, and production outage escalation. (75%)
- Manage the workload for direct reports. Ensure work items are being completed in a timely manner.
- Perform regular one-on-ones to ensure there is a frequent and open line of communication with each team member.
- Set tactical, strategic and career growth goals for each team member. Perform ad-hoc and annual performance reviews.
- Foster a productive and effective environment by practicing service-oriented leadership; provide clarity, clear roadblocks and provide resources.
- Collaborate with other IT leadership to ensure there is alignment on cross functional dependencies and IT-wide initiatives. (25%)
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Education/Certification- Four-year college preferred or commensurate work experience.
- 5+ years of direct management experience over technical resources.
- 10+ years of experience in information technology.
- 8+ years of hands-on experience supporting warehouse management systems in a technical and functional capacity (e.g. WMS, TMS, WLM, warehouse automation systems) – BlueYonder/JDA preferred
- Working knowledge of supply chain concepts, previous experience working as a business analyst in the logistics business preferred
