Job Purpose
*Day Shift (6am - 6pm)*
The SRW Operator is responsible for warehouse operations activities including shipping and receiving, deliveries, coordinating stock, documenting warehouse transactions, maintaining records, and overseeing the storage of surplus inventory and property. The SRW operator is also responsible for packaging finished goods from the production line and packing finished goods orders for customer shipment.
The person in this role may also serve as a lead worker to other classified staff in the area, distribute supplies and equipment, and perform other related work as required.

**Position Summary**
As a Warehouse Operator, you will perform a variety of tasks within our warehouse including moving finished goods into empty trailers in the warehouse, loading and unloading trucks, case picking product, and staging finished product as it is released from our packing area. Successful candidates must maintain a great attendance record and must be able to work overtime and weekends on a rotation schedule.
**Schedule: 3rd Shift - 9pm to 5am with occasional OT on weekends.**
+ Operate an electrical forklift and perform all job duties in a productive manner, demonstrating initiative and maintaining adequate levels of productivity, utilization, and efficiency.
+ Load proper quantities of quality, damage free product, in a safe manner and distributes the weight of the product in a proper manner.
+ Unload product as directed while visually inspecting and identifying any damaged and defective goods.
+ Maintain warehouse arrangement, oversee placement of stock and maximize space utilization to accommodate current stock.
+ Perform warehouse preventative maintenance on forklifts, printers and docks.
**Requirements**
+ High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
+ 1+ years of forklift experience within a high volume distribution center, manufacturing or military environment
The approximate hourly pay for this position is $24.67 per hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position. **WHAT YOU WILL DO:**
+ Work with Quality Control ("QC") department when loads of raw and/or packaging materials arrive to ensure the correct paperwork is given to the QC department when receiving product?
+ Provide proper paperwork to appropriate truck driver when shipping?
+ Ensure hazardous shipments are accompanied with proper placards from information obtained from Bills of Lading or other shipping documents?
+ Load or unload trucks and bulk tanks properly and efficiently, and put away final products into warehouse?
+ Fill out appropriate checklist when unloading/loading trailers?
+ Make sure stock is being rotated (oldest ships 1st) to make sure stock is fresh and clean prior to shipping?
+ Work with production and engineering to ensure shipments will be made on time?
+ Maintain a monthly log for issued forklift, while ensuring forklifts are properly charged and water added to batteries?
+ Execute emergency procedures in event of chemical incident, inclement weather, or other situations that threaten the plant site?
+ Troubleshoot software, instrumentation, solids-handling, blending, and hydraulic systems?
+ Maintain the cleanliness of the operating area in keeping with food-contact standards?
+ Perform any other related duties as required or assigned?
**YOUR MUST HAVES:**
+ Must be 18 years of age or older
+ High school diploma or GED?
+ 0-6 months' related experience?

Additional skills, qualities, or experience that would help you be successful in this role will include:?
+ Read and comprehend documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals?

Warehouse Associate will be expected to perform all duties and responsibilities for the operations in his/her assigned area. The successful candidate will follow plant, departmental, and job safety policies as well as know, understand, and demonstrate a thorough knowledge of safe operating procedures, including housekeeping requirements.
The candidate should have a basic knowledge and understanding of all quality procedures and guidelines, possess the ability to communicate with the previous shift regarding proper counts and any other issues.
The Warehouse Associate will be able to identify the non-quality products and report problems, report unsafe conditions and correct immediately, learn and use computer systems for Quality and Production reporting. The ability to communicate with other associates and areas to ensure a good working environment is imperative.
The Warehouse Associate must be able to:
- Work a set schedule on 1st shift or 2nd shift Monday - Friday.
- Report to scheduled work shift on time every day
- Work overtime as required
- Work in an environment that is hot in the summer and cold in the winter
- Wear personal protective equipment that may include: hearing protection, steel toe boots, safety glasses, FR clothing, Hard Hats, masks, and respirators
- Lift, push, pull up to 70 lbs.
- Carry up to 50 lbs.
- Safely operate a powered industrial vehicle (forklift, etc.)
- Safely load product on flatbed trailers
- Work productively as a member of a team
Starting pay is $17.50/hour and benefits begin on the first day of employment!- Prefer Current Driver's License
