Job Purpose
*Day Shift (6am - 6pm)*
The SRW Operator is responsible for warehouse operations activities including shipping and receiving, deliveries, coordinating stock, documenting warehouse transactions, maintaining records, and overseeing the storage of surplus inventory and property. The SRW operator is also responsible for packaging finished goods from the production line and packing finished goods orders for customer shipment.
The person in this role may also serve as a lead worker to other classified staff in the area, distribute supplies and equipment, and perform other related work as required.

Summary: The Warehouse Operator is responsible for performing all BEDGEAR warehousing functions in a safe, professional, and efficient manner, adhering to established processes and procedures. Essential Functions (includes but not limited to):
The Warehouse Operator is responsible for performing all BEDGEAR warehousing functions in a safe, professional, and efficient manner, adhering to established processes and procedures. This position requires an intermediate understanding of warehousing best practices, including physical and systematic receiving processes, maintaining appropriate stock levels for production, and accurately picking finished goods orders using warehouse management systems and RF scanners. This role ensures exceptional, uncompromising service for both internal and external customers by executing tasks swiftly, accurately, and professionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in all warehousing functions while following established safety and operational procedures.
- Maintain inventory safely and accurately within the warehouse.
- Accurately pick all order types (B2B and B2C) according to pick tickets, ensuring 100% accuracy.
- Efficiently floor load finished goods cartons on full truckloads or containers to maximize cubic space.
- Perform inventory counts at required accuracy levels using current measurement techniques.
- Ensure production areas maintain appropriate stock levels to prevent workflow disruptions.
- Move completed work orders from production areas into finished goods inventory.
- Complete receiving condition reports and validate received SKU and carton counts.

**Position Summary**
As a Warehouse Operator, you will perform a variety of tasks within our warehouse including moving finished goods into empty trailers in the warehouse, loading and unloading trucks, case picking product, and staging finished product as it is released from our packing area. Successful candidates must maintain a great attendance record and must be able to work overtime and weekends on a rotation schedule.

+ Perform warehouse preventative maintenance on forklifts, printers and docks.

+ Work with Quality Control ("QC") department when loads of raw and/or packaging materials arrive to ensure the correct paperwork is given to the QC department when receiving product?

+ Execute emergency procedures in event of chemical incident, inclement weather, or other situations that threaten the plant site?
+ Troubleshoot software, instrumentation, solids-handling, blending, and hydraulic systems?
+ Maintain the cleanliness of the operating area in keeping with food-contact standards?

The Warehouse Associate will be able to identify the non-quality products and report problems, report unsafe conditions and correct immediately, learn and use computer systems for Quality and Production reporting. The ability to communicate with other associates and areas to ensure a good working environment is imperative.
The Warehouse Associate must be able to:
- Work a set schedule on 1st shift or 2nd shift Monday - Friday.
- Report to scheduled work shift on time every day
- Work overtime as required
- Work in an environment that is hot in the summer and cold in the winter
- Wear personal protective equipment that may include: hearing protection, steel toe boots, safety glasses, FR clothing, Hard Hats, masks, and respirators
- Lift, push, pull up to 70 lbs.
- Carry up to 50 lbs.
- Safely operate a powered industrial vehicle (forklift, etc.)
- Safely load product on flatbed trailers
- Work productively as a member of a team
Starting pay is $17.50/hour and benefits begin on the first day of employment!- Prefer Current Driver's License
- Prefer High School Diploma or GED
- Must be able to pass a Background check and Pre-employment physical and Drug Screen
- Prefer Manufacturing, Warehouse and/or Production experience of 1 year
