The Material Handler receives, stores and distributes raw materials and supplies to designated staging areas.

• Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and with applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agencies.
• Operate forklift to unload inbound and outbound shipments.
• Visually inspect materials and report discrepancies in quality.
• Prepare materials for grinding process.
• Transport and store materials, finished products and supplies to appropriate staging area. Report locations for proper labeling.
• Transport scrapped materials from production line to the grinder area.
• Maintain cleanliness of ramp, dock and compactor area.
• Other duties as assigned by management
• Keep assigned work area clean and orderly and dispose of scrap material properly.
• Perform all work in order to ensure the safety of yourself and all other plant personnel.

• Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.

WORK ENVIRONMENT :

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts in a production environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Temperatures inside the plant can fluctuate between hot and cold according to seasonal changes. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required in the production department and other designated areas.

Our client, a leading logistics and warehousing company, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join their team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be part of the operations support team, ensuring smooth and efficient warehouse functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, teamwork, and attention to detail, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Location: Sparta TN

Pay Range: $16.00

Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 or 4:00 PM

What's the Job?

• Accurately pick and pack orders with attention to detail

• Load and unload palletized products and cases from trailers

• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (training provided if needed)

• Maintain inventory levels and ensure proper stock rotation

• Use warehouse technology to scan and prepare items for shipment

What's Needed?

• Ability to lift 30-50 lbs consistently

• Previous warehouse or production experience is a plus

• Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

• Reliable and hardworking attitude
