Position: Material Handler

Shifts Available: AM Shift: 7:00am - 7:30pm | PM Shift: 7:30 PM – 7:00 AM

(2-2-3 Rotating schedule – work just 14 days a month!)

Key Responsibilities:

• Basic communication, computer and Math skills
• Print and follow production schedule as a guideline to maintaining resin supply levels and readiness in accordance with production requirements.
• Meet with scheduler and/or Production Supervisor as needed to review production resin requirements.
• Utilize the MRP system
• Print work orders and labels
• Maintain and control warehouse inventories of packaging, resins, components, WIP, and finished goods. Routes all supplies and materials to the production floor.
• Know the location and the purpose of the Quality Manual and the Material Safety Data Sheet
• Back up Shipping Department as needed.
• Backup Operators as needed

Qualifications:

• ·High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3 months as a level 3 Operator
• Shipping and Receiving experience
• Mold Setting experience
• Forklift Certified

Job Description

Our Greenlawn, NY site has an exciting opportunity to join our Logistics Team. We are looking for a highly motivated person to fill our Material Handler position. In this position, you will manage the transporting of raw material and finished goods throughout each of our three buildings. Using carts and company van, you will navigate to multiple pickup/drop-off locations throughout the day. This position does not require the use of forklifts.

This position provides room for career growth within and beyond the Greenlawn Logistics Dept.

• Works with specific written or verbal instructions to receive/deliver/ count/ handle sensitive components following company command media

• Process and expedite material move transactions delivered by internal customers into company portal tracking software. Maintain daily logs as needed to support task performance.

• Drive company vehicles to transfer material between site s multiple buildings and special off-site transfers.

• Other duties as assigned by leadership.

• Report and suggest inaccurate working media for a process to leadership

• Report working cell performance as directed by leadership

• Use of Microsoft office for admin and communication to customers and peers

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• High School Diploma

• 1 year work experience or equivalent experience

• Able to lift up to 50lbs

• Valid driver's license to operate company van

• Ability to obtain Secret Level Security Clearance

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $43440 - $69480
