**_What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health_**
Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.
**_Job Summary_**
The Senior Associate, Warehouse Operations applies broad knowledge to ensure the integrity, quality, and accuracy of the facility's inventory, which can include but is not limited to: controlling inventory adjustments and holds, profiling/sorting incoming product, resolving inbound and outbound discrepancies, purchasing supplies, ensuring timely delivery and processing physical returns. The Senior Associate executes the facility's standard operating procedures (SOPs) and responds effectively to routine and complex inventory/purchasing control issues.
**Responsibilities**
+ Maintains inventory accuracy by managing product holds, product movements, physical returns, purchasing of products and automated tracking of inventory.
+ Drives efficient picking and replenishment by profiling products to determine the best slotting, based on weights and measures, palette dimensions, frequency of product movement, expiration date, hazardous classifications and other characteristics. Could also drive efficient purchase orders, ensuring a timely manner of delivery to Cardinal Health 3PL's.
+ Continually monitors quality and productivity metrics including damaged product, adjustments, shortages, and cycle counts, among others. Regularly communicates with Supervisor and other internal departments on inventory accuracy and quality metrics related to given products or customers. Could also communicate with outside vendors to secure supplies for operational needs.
+ Investigates outbound discrepancies by checking for differences between physical counts and WMS records. Identifies and reports variances to Customer Care team and ensures that customers are shipped variances promptly and documents all variances and issues in line with SOPs.
+ Should resolve inbound discrepancies by initiating communication with external suppliers and coordinating with Quality Assurance teams. Makes necessary adjustments in WMS and determines implications for customer order fulfillment.
+ May determines proper resolution of discrepancies and other operational errors to ensure that customer commitments can be fulfilled in scheduled timeframe. Promptly communicates the root cause and resolution to the Supervisor, Manager, and other internal stakeholders as necessary to minimize future errors.
+ Could place Purchasing Orders (PO's) for customers and tracks to ensure on time deliveries to prevent service disruptions.
+ Proactively identifies opportunities to improve operations and mitigate risks in inventory control and broader operations. Provides input into operational excellence initiatives through Supervisor and Manager.
+ Serves as a resource to other team members, instructs Associates on complex picking, put-away, and replenishment tasks to maximize inventory accuracy, is flexible to support daily operational needs. May assist in occasional warehouse audits by providing reporting and answering questions related to inventory control
**Qualifications**
+ High School Diploma or GED a plus; Some college preferred
+ 2-4 years of warehouse experience preferred
+ Familiarity with Microsoft Office products and general computer skills desired
+ Experience with WMS preferred
+ Good written communication skills
+ MHE experience preferred

Job Summary:

What You'll Do
+ Develop and maintain time-phased material plans based on BOMs, production schedules, and program timelines
+ Translate program demand into actionable planned orders and coordinate purchasing activities with Procurement
+ Monitor material status and availability across development, qualification, and production phases
+ Ensure MRP system data accuracy, including lead times, lot sizes, and reorder points
+ Drive resolution of material shortages by working closely with Procurement, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality
+ Assess material impacts from configuration changes and design updates
+ Identify and escalate risks to material readiness and delivery timelines
+ Collaborate with Engineering to validate BOM accuracy, manage part substitutions, and support early material needs
+ Contribute to program schedules, burn-down charts, and execution readiness metrics
What You Bring
+ 2-5 years of experience in material planning, production scheduling, or MRP systems
+ Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data-driven decision making
+ Experience in aerospace, defense, medical, or aviation industries preferred
+ Familiarity with NetSuite, JobBOSS, or similar ERP/MRP systems
+ Understanding of sourcing, vendor management, and purchase order coordination
+ Experience working with electronic materials and regulated environments is a plus

As a Material Planner/Shipping Specialist, you will be responsible for planning raw materials and packaging supplies to ensure resources required for product manufacturing are in stock and available. You will work closely with the Production Department to understand the production schedule and forecast appropriately to keep the plant stocked with necessary materials.
Responsibilities
+ Plan and schedule all raw material and packaging supplies based on the production schedule, inventory on hand, and storage capacity.
+ Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage of all materials, shipping containers, and other needed supplies.
+ Enter purchase orders in the purchasing system.
+ Assist the purchasing department in researching, evaluating, and liaising with vendors.
+ Enter raw material receipts and finished goods into the purchasing and inventory systems.
+ Maintain both raw material and finished goods inventory reports, updating them daily.
+ Assist with reconciliation of physical inventory and preparation of month-end reports as needed.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel.
+ Experience in inventory control.
+ At least 2 years of experience in a planner role.

The **Materials** **Planner/Buyer** is responsible for managing all material related Planning activities needed to meet trial, commercial, and process development manufacturing requirements. The principal objective of the **Materials Planner/Buyer** is to coordinate and improve the material planning function within Catalent through the implementation of planning best practices and the full utilization of an ERP system. **The Role**
+ Write purchase orders in system and send to suppliers based on Trial Production schedule, purchase requisitions, and forecast files.
+ Execute / monitor MRP calculations and messages.
+ Drive maximum utilization of the ERP system (JD Edwards) for all MRP functions and inventory control.
+ Interface with the Manufacturing and Quality groups to resolve material availability and production tracking issues on a real time basis.
+ Monitor the "MRP to consumption" flow of materials from receipt to issuance; including release testing and material disposition.
+ Coordinate production, inventory management, and procurement activities by partnering with the Scheduling Manager, Manufacturing, R&D, and Project Management.
+ Manage materials throughout full lifecycle from initial creation through end of life through customer chargebacks and disposals.
+ Work with Supply Chain to develop and implement inventory and planning strategies to support both MRP and non-MRP activities (i.e. reorder point planning, Kanban programs, safety stock demand planning, ABC categorization, etc.).
