Main Ingredients of the Job

• Safely and accurately select customer orders. Build and wrap pallets to meet weekly standards for productivity and accuracy
• Perform pre-shift equipment checks and safely operate an electric pallet
• Carefully move products from racks to pallets directed by order selecting software and equipment
• Validate that correct product has been selected and is damage free
• Efficiently deliver products to correct dock area and shrink wraps palletized orders
• Team up to clear aisles of debris, stacks empty pallets from slots in aisle and return pallet jacks to charging area

Physical Requirements

• Comfortable working in a multi-temperature environment ranging from -5 degrees to over 100 degrees required
• Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively; moving 1,000+ cases of product during each shift required

What You Bring to the Table

• Must be able to read and communicate in the English language such as to attend trainings, hold conversations, receive safety and job-related coaching, read labels, and enter information on reports if needed
• Able to work 8+ hour night shifts, typically Sunday – Thursday. At times weekends and holidays will required
• Recent experience (within past 6 months) in high endurance or highly physical activity or role preferred e.g. lifting/transferring patients, sports/fitness, farming, construction work, etc.
• Experience selecting large scale orders in a warehouse or distribution center environment preferred
• Experience operating motorized pallet jack or similar equipment preferred

C ompensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law. The expected base rate for this role is between $21. 3 and 28.00.

As applicable, this role will also receive overtime compensation, retention bonus, incentive compensation based on productivity and quality.

• + 1/hour for powered industrial equipment (PIE) operators

• Day shift: Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. or 10:00 a.m. start time

• Safely complete inbound and /or outbound warehouse tasks with strong attention to detail. For example, unloading, sorting, labeling, replenishing, auditing, picking and packing products

• Ensure products are shipped correctly to exceed customers' expectations for quality and delivery speed

• Meet safety, quality, productivity, behavior, attendance, and overtime requirements as needed

• Operate computerized scanning equipment and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA and Hazardous Material requirements

• Perform other tasks as directed by leadership

• Comfort working on your feet with exposure to heat, cold, noise, and dust while working around moving equipment and elevated stations

• At least 18 years of age

• Ability to frequently lift, slide and lower packages up to 75 pounds

• Ability to receive feedback and work well in a team environment

• For PIE operators: ability to operate warehouse vehicles, material handling equipment and powered industrial equipment, including Crown, Pacer, Reach Truck, Order Picker, Barrett, Turret Truck and Forklift

• Previous warehouse, retail, or customer service experience in fast-paced environments

• Great attention to detail, quality, and safety

Compensation:

This position is hourly.  Pay starts at $0.40/hour   (with three raises in 12 months bringing your pay to $ 1.60/hour)
