Perform a variety of duties such as loading & unloading trucks, stocking materials/ingredients used to manufacture food as well as dry goods. Additionally, shipping and receiving employees are responsible for keeping proper inventory of produce, seeds, superfoods, perishable items, paper supplies, kitchen equipment, etc.

Job tasks

Perform the following tasks:

• Responsible for receiving accurate orders from vendors.
• Responsible for shipping accurate orders to customers.
• Maintaining proper inventory of following perishable items: produce, seeds & nuts, meat, dairy products, as well as dry goods and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain a safe and clean warehouse.
• Provide daily accurate inventory reports to the Production Manager.
• Fulfill accurate PO’S to all departments in the company such as juice, kitchen, dehydrated, bakery and management.
• Performing General Physical Activities- Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning and moving materials, and manipulating things.

• Knowledge of health and safety rules in the warehouse department.
• Manual dexterity able to operate cutting tools such as blades.
• A team player with good communication skills.
• Patient with an ability to stay positive under pressure.
• Very good physical condition and endurance. Ability to lift at least 60 lbs.
• Must pass food safety class required by Health Department.
• Must pass forklift certification class.
