**POSITION SUMMARY**
Located in North America's wind belt, Davenport is at the forefront of renewable energy technology and has remained home to one of our largest manufacturing facilities since 1927. Originally producing cereal, the factory became a pet food-only manufacturer in the late '90s and as the largest pet food manufacturing facility in the U.S., it carefully produces, packages, and ships several varieties of our Dog Chow®, Puppy Chow®, Alpo®, Beneful®, Purina ONE®, Cat Chow®, Friskies®, and Kit N Kaboodle® brands.
As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to use your management expertise to take your career to the next level as you lead warehouse operations for our dynamic manufacturing environment. You will pave the way for our dedicated team on the back shift, ensuring the seamless execution of receiving, storage, and shipping functions to support our plant's production operations and other vital functions. + Set goals for your team, monitor performance, and seek opportunities for operational enhancements.
+ Utilize and develop proficiency in warehouse management systems and other software tools to optimize operations.
**Requirements**
+ High School diploma or GED equivalent
+ 2+ years of leadership experience in a warehouse, transportation, manufacturing, military, or related environment
+ **Must be willing to work nights, weekends and overtime**
The approximate pay range for this position is $64,000 to $94,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.

**Responsibilities**
+ Align and inspire teammate participation in all team related activities to include kaizen teams, safety teams, production teams
+ Responsible for timely shipment of all domestic and international orders
+ Execute the inventory cycle count program. This includes identifying, counting, reconciling and adjusting the on hand inventory
+ Must understand shipping regulations as they pertain to domestic and international shipments and prepare the necessary documents to complete the shipping function. This individual must also understand the regulations pertaining to the shipment of hazardous materials for domestic and international shipments
+ Must use the ERP system to perform the shipping, receiving and materials functions (i.e. on-line receiving, forced out shop orders, close shop orders, make inventory adjustments, pick and issue inventory, make bills of material changes, record scrap and rework, stage work in process materials and maintain correct supply inventories
+ Safely operate material handling equipment (Lifts, Jacks & Cranes, Fork Trucks)
+ Use the necessary power and hand tools to crate parts and equipment for damage free shipments. Operate equipment used to perform the shipping function (i.e. electronic scale, postage meter, address and labeling machines and any new equipment due to changing technology)
+ Ensure line driven safety goals and objectives are achieved, as defined by division safety deployment letter, while maintaining alignment with corporate policies and procedures
