**Summary** Under the responsibility of the Manager, the Warehouse Supervisor is responsible to supervise, coordinate and oversee the logistics operations and provide coaching, development and training to the staff members. Supervises the daily activities of all warehouse, shipping, receiving, and inventory management functions to include, including labor scheduling, storing, shipping, space management/cycle counting, and housekeeping. **Essential Functions**
+ Directly supervises the hourly warehouse employees' activities pertaining to material management, equipment problems, truck loading, truck traffic, housekeeping, cycle counting, and inventory management. Will lead shift safety meetings to ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and health policies, procedures, and practices.
+ Communicates & documents employee expectations and assesses employee performance. Provides coaching and development opportunities and administers disciplinary action up to and including termination if needed. Will be required to assist in the evaluation and selection process of hiring hourly employees.
+ Oversees the training of warehouse employees to ensure they receive adequate training prior to operating forklifts and any other motorized equipment, ensuring they follow the standard operating procedures and work instructions.
+ Understands and performs cycle count activities and how they can affect inventory and all warehouse functions, and all inventory locations are maintained with the correct inventory to ensure shipping documents are accurate - first in, first out should be the priority.
+ Ensuring solid communication between truck drivers and warehouse employees at all times.

Overview
The Warehouse Supervisor assists in the accountability of all equipment in the warehouse. Responsibilities include following established policies and procedures for activities such as receiving, issuing and returning equipment to technicians, and processing defective returns back to vendor(s).
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES:**
+ Assist in the pulling, issuing, and returning of equipment from technicians.
+ Maintain all issue and return receipts generated via the scanner for all daily transactions.

This position is responsible for the supervision of required activities and personnel in the receiving, casting shed, stockperson, and material handling functions within the Machine Shop.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Assign, direct, and observe the daily work and activities of personnel involved with receiving, material handling, stockroom, and casting shed per fulfillment needs.
+ Assure that the established policies, rules and regulations, procedures and the Collective Bargaining Agreement are followed.
+ Minimize disruptions to flow within operations; create standard work for what to do when flow is disrupted, resolve or escalate to get timely resolution as needed.
+ Monitor and track daily performance metrics on value stream board, including safety, quality, delivery and cost.
+ Assure that machinery, equipment, and facilities are properly maintained for efficient production.
+ Ensure an adequate supply of perishable items are available to maintain manufacturing schedules.
+ Responsible for sustainment of overall continuous improvement strategy for material storage optimization, PFEP, and material flow.
+ Effectively produce written documents such as production reports or procedures/ work instructions when necessary
+ Assist in the oversight and management of material handling (tugger) route.
+ Sustainment of Kanban system.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
+ Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2 years in a supervisory or manufacturing technical support role (e.g. Value Stream Manager, Manufacturing Services), OR
+ Associate's Degree in a technical/related field with 5 years related manufacturing supervisory or lead role, OR
+ High School Diploma or equivalent and 8 years in a manufacturing supervisory or leadership role.

+ Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
+ Must be customer focused and know about internal and external customer relationships.
+ Must have excellent interpersonal skills and have ability to influence without direct authority.
+ Self-motivated, with good organizational skills and be able to handle multiple tasks.
+ Must work well in a team environment, experience working within a union environment a plus.
+ Must have good written and oral communication skills.

As a Warehouse Supervisor you will be responsible for all aspects of warehouse operations. You will supervise the warehouse team, supervise implementation and maintenance of logistics processes, and oversee inventory management, security, and safety of the warehouse.
**Work Shift and Hours:**
+ Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pmor depending on business needs.
**Compensation Details:**
+ The expected base salary for this position is $55,000 annually depending on experience.
+ This position is also bonus eligible - based on specific and relevant business metrics.
**In this role you will:**
+ Supervise warehouse staff and designate daily work assignments
+ Supervise inbound and outbound shipping activity, ensure customer service goals are attained
+ Select routing for trucks and ensure loading operations are in compliance
+ Maintain security of warehouse equipment and material
+ Ensure all procedures are followed under ISO regulations and ensure employees are following safety rules
**What you bring to the table:**
+ Leadership skills including ability to delegate and prioritize
+ Ability to safely perform physical activities associated with warehouse work
+ Knowledge of proper use of PPE
+ Experience using warehouse management systems
+ 2+ years supervisory, warehouse and logistics experience preferred
+ 4 year degree preferred
