2nd Shift, Monday - Friday, 3:00pm - 11:30pm

What you'll do on a typical day:
• Ensure efficient daily operations of the warehouse; prepare schedules
• Supervise the team and provide training and coaching to improve performance
• Monitor work quality to consistently deliver exceptional customer service
• Demonstrate an understanding of the company quality policy
• Adhere to the 7S program and maintain a clean environment at all times
• Communicate well with leadership, team members and other departments
• Implement continuous improvement action plans
What you need to succeed at GXO:
At a minimum, you'll need:
• 2 years of relevant work experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and computerized scanner equipment
• Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends
It'd be great if you also have:
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field
• 2 years of managerial or supervisory experience
• Bilingual English/Spanish
• Experience in an AS9100 or ISO environment
• Warehousing or Third-Party Logistics (3PL) experience
This job requires the ability to:
• Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights
• Stand, sit or walk for extended periods of time
• Reach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel
• Handle or manage tools or equipment
• Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments

**Overview**
POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The Supervisor, Warehouse, Shipping and Receiving will manage, direct, and coordinate all warehouse activities involving re-supply order shipping and receiving. This position is responsible for ensuring department procedures are followed in order to maintain accuracy of the inventory within the warehouse. The Supervisor will provide the established reporting documents and statistics to the Sr. Manager, Export/Import Shipping & Deployment and other departments as required. The Supervisor will also provide a working environment conducive to employee performance growth and seek to resolve employee issues as they arise.
DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
+ Supervise the re-supply order shipping and receiving activities, monitor departmental procedures making sure they are followed to ensure accurate recording of inventory movement and completion of daily assignments.
+ Research and reconcile as necessary any re-supply order over/under receipts as reported by DC's receiving shipments from HADC.
+ Every Monday run the "HL In-transit Shipment Report" and with the Shipping & Receiving Coordinator identify re-supply orders with old due dates and research as necessary in order to maintain current data accuracy.
+ Research and reconcile all inventory variances related to receiving or re-supply shipments upon notification or discovery.
+ Notify Inventory Coordinator of any reported inventory variances found in bulk storage locations for immediate inventory reconciliation.
+ Monitor employees time; recording edits in timekeeping system and schedule employee vacations, ensuring adequate coverage to meet the department's daily productivity goals. Schedule and monitor staff with department budget in mind to minimize unnecessary overtime.
+ Ensure that employees are trained and training is documented. Ensure staff understands Cirrus Shipping System.
+ Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of attendance for all permanent employees as well as records of all disciplinary action issued.
+ Promote safety and housekeeping daily.
+ Communicate all policies and other necessary information to employees.
+ Spend an appropriate amount of time on the floor, monitoring daily operations, interacting with employees, and assisting with floor operations as needed in order to meet daily goals.
+ Coach, counsel, motivate, and develop staff to provide the highest quality of customer service to Distributors and internal staff.
+ Run and maintain all daily reports as instructed by Manager. This may include additional reports in the absence of Manager.
+ Perform additional duties as assigned
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for about 15 hourly employees who are a combination of permanent and temporary employees that perform a variety of warehouse functions.
**Qualifications**
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Skills:
+ Proficient in Microsoft applications, Outlook, Excel and Word, manifest systems and either AS400 or HP based warehouse management system
+ Ability to manage time and attendance software for payroll/attendance purposes
+ Knowledge of Oracle Systems
+ Knowledge of general inventory processes
+ Excellent written and verbal communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
+ Ability to effectively coach, counsel and discipline when required demonstrating honesty and fairness to staff
+ Ability to interact and carry out responsibilities under general supervision and maintain a professional demeanor. Ability to interact at all levels with sensitivity to cultural diversity and function as an effective team member.
+ Good leadership, planning, and ability to organize workload for effective implementation.
+ Ability to adapt as the external environment and organization evolve.
Experience:
+ 5+ years' experience in a leadership capacity in a distribution/warehouse environment
+ Experience with warehouse equipment including conveyors, tapers, strappers, box erectors, RF guns
+ Strong customer experience and results orientation
+ Forklift Experience
Education:
+ High school diploma
+ Associate or bachelor degree preferred

+ Knowledge/Skills in Oracle
+ Bachelor's Degree concentration in business, supply chain management, or logistics
