**Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities**
+ Lead and supervise daily production or warehouse operations, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and production standards.
+ Train, mentor, and motivate team members to achieve performance goals and maintain high levels of productivity.
+ Monitor production schedules, workflows, and inventory levels to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
+ Collaborate with management to identify and implement process improvements.
+ Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance QA and USDA.
+ Assist in the development of operational reports and performance metrics.
+ Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring that all equipment is in good working condition **.**
**Minimum Education**
+ High School or equivalent preferred but not required.
**Experience Requirements**
+ A minimum of 6 months of consecutive work history with one (1) employer within the past (1) year.
**Experience Preferred**
+ Previous experience in a lead or supervisory role in a distribution/production/manufacturing environment preferred.
**Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements**
When in a plant environment:
+ Ability to tolerate exposure to wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces.
+ Ability to stand for an extended period and perform repetitive tasks.
+ Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs by reaching, bending, and pushing boxes.
+ Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, safety glasses, and ear protection as required.
+ May work in an environment with varying temperatures between 25 degrees and 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
+ May handle product varying in temperatures between 25 to 50 degrees Fahrenheit.
+ May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db to 110 db.
+ Occasional exposure to carbon dioxide vapors 10ppm and chlorine less than 20 ppm.

**Job Description**
Provides analysis and planning to future slot new merchandise prior to arrival. Provides slot capacity analysis to ensure slots hold at least one week of sales. Executes major slot movement activity to accommodate new sku's and repair aisles that pull poorly due to product additions and deletions. Interfaces daily with store management to resolve shipping discrepancies, product disparities, and other accounting related problems.
**Responsibilities**
+ Develop, manipulate, and run system queries to analyze slot capacity, demand, and overall placement.
+ Interface with store personnel to resolve shortages, overages, and other accounting related issues.
+ Pre-slot new items, ensuring product location within two weeks from product arrival.
+ Consolidate vendor categories and merge with other similar vendors, optimizing operational flow.
**Qualifications**
+ Years of Experience: Two to Three
+ Type of Experience: Distribution
+ Special Certifications or Technical Skills: Computer literate in Excel spreadsheet manipulation and general query structure.
+ Certified in Powered Industrial Equipment, specifically Stock Pickers and Reach Lifts.
+ Other/Preferred: Intermediate level computer knowledge
