Job Purpose:
Plans, schedules and monitors the movement of materials through the production cycle to determine required materials purchases. Obtains materials using engineering and production schedules to maintain inventory at planned levels (i.e., Just In Time purchases, use of EOQ - Economic Order Quantities). Resolves discrepancies. Ensures material standards are met and non-conformances or variances are approved and/or minimized. Develops specifications for new contract orders. Gathers quotations, examines bids and makes awards. Monitors cost, schedule and scope of assigned subcontracts to assure best quality at best value. Evaluates vendor reliability and develops new supply sources where vendors and suppliers are no longer competitive. Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:
- Interface with suppliers to obtain pricing, delivery information for proposal development and/or product. Requires extensive analysis of data, for example; comparing forecast to suppliers' commitment schedule to ensure parts availability for large customers/projects.
- Engaged in sourcing for New Products Introduction (NPI), managing first article, and transitioning to production.
- Responsible for analyzing the purchasing data of Engineering Change Orders (ECO's).
- Purchase (place P.O.'s) for hot new ECO parts and urgent NPI programs.
- Work on implementing Supplier Managed Inventory (SMI) programs, conducting analysis to determine the eligibility for the program, creating addendums, communication and training.
- Requires ability to compile, analyze data and prepare detailed reports documenting the cost savings and inventory reductions achieved.
- Responsible for implementation and enhancements of Supply Chain activities for the plants in the EBAC Division. Manage supply base to ensure agility goals are met. Work with the Global Supply Chain Management Team and plant personnel to ensure compliance on RTF and SMI EDI transactions.
- Work on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors; resolves a wide range of issues in imaginative as well as practical ways. Interacts with individuals and cross-functional teams to ensure solutions are implemented.
- Receive assignments in the form of objectives and plans appropriately to ensure schedules/goals are met.
- Assist purchasing manager on the excess and obsolete inventory review and work for a disposition. Customer and supplier interactions may be required
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5-8 years of related experience
- Result and action oriented; Ability to meet aggressive deadlines.
- Strong written and oral communication skills; must be able to communicate with suppliers and multiple levels throughout the organization.

Actual base pay within this range (determined at the offer stage) will be based on a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills, and is just one element of our total rewards package. **The Opportunity**
The Director Supply Chain provides vision, strategy, leadership, and direction for Heart Failure supply chain operations to achieve and maintain the highest standards of quality, customer satisfaction, delivery, service, manufacturing capability to accomplish business, and division and corporate goals at competitive costs. Actively engages and drives the Integrated Business Process (IBP) on behalf of the business unit to ensure proper sales and operations planning. Create and meet short- and long-term business goals to support our customer and business requirements through: Direct or indirect management of material supply chain functions. Lead and support key strategic and tactical initiatives to optimize performance of Supply Chain.
**What You'll Work On**
- Lead the Supply Chain for the HF Division and actively drive our Integrated Business Planning process for the business unit
- Manage key stakeholders in Finance, Quality, Supply Chain and Operations to insure achievement of business unit operations goals
- Work with peers in R&D, Quality, and Regulatory to support new product introduction, on-market and LRP strategies.
- Provide vision, definition, and implementation of long-range material management, manufacturing and business improvement initiatives.
- Develop and track goals and objectives to assure annual improvements in operational performance, cost, product quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Establish effective measurement systems for performance to assure meeting quality, customer and cost expectations.
- Responsible for planning, budgeting and spending authorization.
- Develop processes, define system requirements ,and assume responsibility for the system integration to support multi-manufacturing plant supply chain operations
- Establish effective life cycle management programs for Heart Failure products.
- Determine system requirements and technologies needed to maintain and improve performance.
- Enforce compliance of personnel with administrative policies, procedures, safety rules, and governmental regulations.
- Serve as senior level representative on cross-organizational, cross-plant, cross-division and corporate materials and operations initiatives.
- Serve as supply chain interface on new product transition to manufacturing.
- Direct investigations into causes of customer complaints related to supply chain operations.
**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree (± 16 years) in Engineering, Finance, Science or Business (or related field)
+ Minimum 7 + years Senior leadership experience in Supply Chain management
+ Experience working in medical devices or other highly regulated products
+ Multi-site leadership experience

Job Title: Supply Chain Analyst (Pharmaceutical Industry)
Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Supply Chain Analyst to support daily supply chain operations, including logistics execution, order management, inventory reconciliation, and compliance with import/export requirements. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and effective communication with both internal teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and manage purchase and sales orders within SAP ERP.
- Update and maintain order tracking in Excel and related systems.
- Reconcile inventory between internal ERP and partner systems.
- Perform goods receipts and support inventory movements.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics with carriers, customs brokers, and partners.
- Monitor critical shipments and ensure on-time, in-full deliveries.
- Review and prepare import/export documentation and permits.
- Ensure compliance with GxP and international trade regulations.
- Report shipping incidents to Quality Assurance and support TMS administration.
- Review invoices and support payment processing.
- Provide regular shipping and inventory status updates to stakeholders.
- Manage IRT activities and investigational product returns/reconciliation.
Qualifications:
- BS/BA degree in a related discipline.
- 1–2 years of supply chain or logistics experience.
- Knowledge of import/export documentation requirements.
- Familiarity with GxP standards in transportation and materials management.
- SAP experience preferred.
- Hazmat/Dangerous Goods certification a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask under deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Working Conditions:
- Primarily office-based with occasional after-hours or weekend work required to oversee critical shipments.
