Uses discretion to provide coaching and counseling to associates regarding job performance, methods of performing job tasks. Resolves associate relations issues that arise in assigned functional area. Responsible for hiring, compensation, discipline and terminations of hourly associates in assigned department. - 15% Drives Results: Maintains inventory accuracy and control; reviews reports identifies area of improvement for key metrics including productivity, accuracy, quality and expenses.
- 15% Business Planning: Coordinates and monitors operations with the functional area to ensure performance production rates are consistent with business plan and pattern, reducing irregularities and damages. Reviews reports and business metrics to analyze and plan staffing needs for optimum department operations.
- Additional Responsibilities: Other duties as assigned by Operations Manager, Assistant General Manager or General Manager.
- This position typically reports to the Operations Manager.
- This position is accountable for the direct supervision of the work activities of others. Planning, monitoring and reviewing work of subordinates is required. This may include direct supervision of a shift or the coordination of multiple work groups. Makes recommendations concerning selection, termination, performance appraisal and professional development.
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Compensation: This position pays an hourly rate of $24.00 - $33.00.
Profit sharing is available to eligible employees; this discretionary program is dependent on the profitability of the company.

The Operations Manager will play a key role in achieving profit, expense, and performance targets, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and employee engagement.
**What you will do**
+ Develops tactical and operational plans to achieve the Distribution Center Operations area's goals, and communicates plans to managers, supervisors, and individual contributors.
+ Ensures team compliance with policies and procedures to achieve the organization's Distribution Center Operations goals and objectives.
+ Administers strategy to achieve performance expectations and financial metrics.
+ Coordinates deliverable timelines, accountability, and action steps for completion.
+ Advises with managers on recommendations to improve operational efficiency.
+ Allocates resources to ensure timely, secure, and accurate deliveries of products and services.
+ Analyzes areas of opportunities within the distribution center to identify best-in-class solutions.
+ Manages operational aspects of the team (e.g., budget, performance, and compliance), and implements workforce and succession plans to meet business needs.

**Required Qualifications**
**Minimum 5 years of progressive work experience in warehouse or distribution center operations**
**Minimum 5 years of experience directly managing large teams (50-100)**
**Experience in a retail distribution environment**
**Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)**
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Bilingual - English/Spanish
+ Exposure to supply chain management and cross-dock operations
+ Background in employee mentorship, engagement, and development planning
+ Familiarity with LEAN principles or Six Sigma methodology
+ Continuous improvement/change management experience
+ Demonstrated agility and adaptability in dynamic operational settings
+ Adept at business intelligence and data-driven decision-making

The typical pay range for this role is:
$66,330.00 - $145,860.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.

**A Brief Overview**
The Distribution Center Operations Supervisor directs workflow for warehouse employees and leads their team to meet and exceed daily targets. Manages day to day work operations and evaluates work performance. Assists manager in the total leadership and operations with initiative, leadership, and continuous improvement thinking.
**What you will do:**
+ Assists with coordination of processes and assignments for the distribution area to ensure the delivery of consistent work products.
+ Executes daily activities and operational plans for the distribution area's strategies to enhance the culture of excellence and innovation across the enterprise.
+ Manages day-to-day operations in a warehouse section to ensure daily targets are met or exceeded.
+ Conducts performance appraisals using various reports, summaries, and procedures as necessary to resolve problems and improve employee efficiency and warehouse operations.
+ Analyzes reports and provides recommendations to the operations manager on best practices for the section.
+ Coordinates processes and assignments for areas within the warehouse to achieve a balanced workload and meet daily operational metrics.
+ Defines terms for conducting tasks and establishes new priorities for assignments to meet operational success.
+ Manages team performance through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process to ensure delivery of exceptional services and engagement, motivation, and team development.

**Required Qualifications**
+ 2+ years of supervisory/people leader experience in a distribution/manufacturing environment
+ 1-2 years Warehouse Management Systems experience

+ Working knowledge of execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills
+ Working knowledge of business intelligence
+ Working knowledge of problem solving and decision making skills
