**Your New Role.**
+ The Animation Studio Artist Management Coordinator will support the execution of our next generation programs, events, studio onboarding, and school outreach efforts. The Coordinator will support the vision of the Artist Management team through the execution, facilitation and administration of key talent programs focused on how we engage with, develop, and inspire interested and incoming Animation talent.
**Your Role Accountabilities.**
+ Collaborates with and supports the Artist Management Team through coordination of programmed internal & external events (panels, presentations, expos & conventions), school relations, and talent outreach.
+ Assists with and coordinates school outreach efforts with high school students, college students and educators - including local outreach events, informational presentations, portfolio reviews and school visits.
+ Supports Artist Job Postings/format for social media, with knowledge of Photoshop, and manage application inbox for show reviews.
+ Supports Artist Management and Outreach initiatives throughout the year
+ Helps maintain the team calendar. Heavy scheduling and a focus on logistic details with exceptional follow-through.
+ Supports onboarding by welcoming new hires with welcome kits and keeping positive and supportive communication with artists throughout their time at the studio.
+ Assists in company monthly newsletter assignments and weekly talent retention email blast recommendations.
+ Performs other related duties as assigned.
**Qualifications & Experience.**
**Work Experience**
+ 1-3 Years in Animation Talent Development, production, or related department
+ Experience coordinating events and complex projects
**Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification**
+ A Bachelor's degree is preferred
**Knowledge/Skills**

  • Build, maintain, and analyze cash forecasting models, tracking by-title production spend and receipts across 40+ active and upcoming film projects
  • Develop and retain subject matter expertise in key areas of production finance that impact forecasting, including domestic and international tax incentive programs, production-specific nuances, and contractual factors
  • Identify key drivers impacting financial performance and analyze potential risks & opportunities
  • Prepare presentations for senior management highlighting production cost performance against budgets and in-year cash position by film, as well as CFO Op Reviews and Leadership Business Updates
  • Assist with annual budget deliverables, detailed historical data analysis, industry research, and support for strategic slate assumptions
  • Own recurring reporting duties for production cash

Our team is looking for a driven, strategic, customer-centric Sourcing and Production Manager to help grow our Music Merchandise business. Music and fashion have been intertwined for decades, and this role will create buzzworthy artist merch collections that authentically connect artists and fans on Amazon, in venue, and around the world.
The Sourcing and Production Manager will assist the Sr Production Manager in driving the ideation around and execution of product development and production process - from initial design concept through bulk production execution. This role will foster partnerships and help create strategies to maximize margin, quality, lead-time and brand goals. The successful candidate will have deep experience in traditional apparel production & screen printing, and must be a creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative production strategies. The candidate should also have their pulse on the trends of the artist merchandise business, including blank and print technique expertise.
The Sourcing and Production Manager will support and report to the Sr Manager on the Amazon Music Merch team and will work with artist teams, brand and marketing managers, and across various internal and external partners to shape the merchandise production strategy for Amazon Music. The candidate must have the leadership presence and communication skills to represent Amazon at all levels of our partners' organizations.

THE JOB

Responsible for assisting the Production Manager with administrative show and event productions. Confidentiality is very critical to this role.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

* Must Ensure positive and creative environment for the Production department and Venue
* Complete and distribute a daily show flash (P&L) of every event
* Have a detailed understanding of deal structure and the settlement process
* Maintain department manuals and training materials for all production positions
* Train /Assist and support production department personnel with job functions as needed
* Responsible for adhering to the budget and tracking the financial aspects of department
* Create and maintain inventory and maintenance log
* Ensure all procedures are cost effective
* Creates daily/weekly show schedule to present weekly at staff meeting Ensuring information is distributed to Operations Managers in a timely basis
* Work with the Production Manager scheduling appropriate number of staff while maintaining labor costs within the assigned budgetary guidelines
* Maintain regular communications with Production Manager and the GM
* Facilitate proper interdepartmental communication and organization
* Help to manage stage, sound, and lighting crews
* Coordinate operational feedback with Talent Buyer
* Advance technical and Hospitality details for shows/events along with the Production Manager
* Oversee maintenance of audio, lighting, backline, video systems advising on repairs when needed
* Responsible for safe and consistent operation of all equipment
* Attends production and operations meeting as outlined by the GM
* Maintain a detailed and thorough filing system of all "past show" files on the shared drive
* Maintain accurate vendor records, following Purchase Ordering Systems

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

Required:

* Calm / Professional and customer service oriented
* Prior production experience in an entertainment venue
* Tour and Stage Production experience
* Understanding of stage lighting, pro audio systems and video systems
* Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
* Ability to make clear concise decisions, sometimes with limited information
* Computer literate in Windows applications (Excel and Word a must)
* Must possess superior interpersonal communication and organizational skills

Preferred:

* College Degree

Physical Demands/Working Environment:

* Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs
* Moderate to loud level or noise in work environment
