What Does a Retail Sales Specialist Do?
- ? Drive Sales & Build Store Culture: Collaborate with Sales Floor Managers and Department Leaders to foster a high-energy sales culture that celebrates wins and drives results.
- ? Deliver Results with Agility: Take ownership of individual and team KPIs, driving productivity and consistently exceeding sales targets.
- ? Train & Develop Others: Act as a peer coach by training team members on selling strategies, service standards, and product knowledge to ensure a consistent customer experience.
- ? Always Be Selling (ABS): Use clientele tools, CRM, and design applications to nurture customer relationships and secure both immediate and future sales.

Youll Thrive in This Role if You Have:
- ? Leadership Experience: 13 years of experience motivating a team to meet sales goals in a retail environment.
- ? Sales Expertise: 1+ year in a retail sales role with a strong track record of meeting quotas or KPIs. Experience in specialty or high-touch sales is a plus.
- ? Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- ? Schedule Flexibility: Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- ? Tech Proficiency: Comfortable learning and using CRM tools, mobile devices, POS systems, and Google Suite or Microsoft Office.

Overview: As a Logistics & Inventory Associate (Back of House) , youll be a vital part of keeping Wayfairs Physical Retail stores running smoothly. Youll manage inventory flow, unload shipments, and maintain product accuracy to ensure our customers have a seamless shopping experience. When needed, youll also step into customer-facing roles to support curbside pickups and returns. This role calls for strong attention to detail, comfort in a fast-paced warehouse setting, and the ability to handle heavy merchandise safely and efficiently. What Does a Logistics & Inventory Associate Do?
- ? Demonstrate Reliability: Be present and punctual for your full shift every day. This commitment helps ensure our customers get the support they need when they need it. When unexpected situations arise, proactively communicate and plan ahead whenever possible.
- ? Receive and Process Shipments: Unload incoming furniture and products, including moving large, heavy items safely. Accurately process and document inventory details.
- ? Customer Engagement: Own the customer experience for curbside transactions, carry-outs, pickups, and returns. Use POS systems effectively to keep these interactions smooth & positive. Step in to assist customer-facing operations as needed, helping ensure a seamless and welcoming experience for all Wayfair guests.

What youll do:
- Provide an authentic, friendly customer experience that exemplifies our Wayfair commitment to relentless customer focus
- Drive sales in the store by asking great questions to understand customer needs, guiding them through their questions, providing product options (both within store and our endless aisle/online assortment via web and app) that leads to a satisfied customer experience.
- Demonstrate confidence in closing the sale and educating customers on various ways to purchase including through POS, Online, our App or through a Quote.
- Assist walk-ins on the sales floor and in the design studio as needed.
- Be an expert in the services offered in store and online - credit, financing, warranty, installation and delivery, always considering value adds to client purchases.
- Participate in all operational aspects of the store including but not limited to: processing new products, floor sets, replenishment, substitutions and general upkeep of the store
- Exemplify a positive and professional attitude on a daily basis with customers and your team members.

Criteria:
- 1+ years of retail sales experience (preferably in a design related environment). Interior design, specialty sales experience a plus
- Passion for great customer service and a drive to exceed sales targets.
- Strong organization, self-motivation, communication and relationship management skills.
- Track record of thriving in a fast paced and changing environment, with an ability to adapt and grow
- Demonstrated ability to work within a team sales environment.
- Technical acumen to learn necessary software; proficiency in Google and Microsoft Office applications preferred.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
