About the Role
Join the future of transportation as an Autonomous Vehicle Operator (Safety Driver) in Miami, FL. You’ll help test and operate self-driving ride-hailing vehicles, ensuring safe, reliable performance on real roads. This is an on-site position for local Miami-area applicants who want to work hands-on with next-generation autonomous driving technology.
What You’ll Do
- Safely operate and monitor autonomous vehicles in real-world environments.
- Take control when necessary to maintain safety.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report performance or safety issues.
- Collect data, provide feedback to engineering teams, and support vehicle readiness.
- Represent the brand with professionalism during all operations.
Training Provided (Paid)
- Paid training in Las Vegas, NV (flights and hotel covered).
- After training, daily operations resume in Miami, FL .
Pay & Schedule
- $25/hour + up to 7% shift bonus for nights/weekends.
- Day Shifts: 6:45 AM–3:15 PM or 7:45 AM–4:15 PM.
- Night Shifts: 2:45 PM–11:15 PM or 3:45 PM–12:15 AM.
- Rotating 5-day schedules: Wed–Sun, Thu–Mon, Fri–Tue, or Sat–Wed.
Requirements
- Must live in Miami, FL and hold a valid Florida driver’s license.
- Clean driving record — no DUIs or criminal history.
- Ability to stay focused and alert for long driving sessions (up to 8 hours/day).
- Strong communication and basic tech troubleshooting skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional driving experience (rideshare, delivery, or commercial).
- Background in military, law enforcement, or technical fields.
- Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, or computer systems.
