Responsibilities:
+ Manage and nurture client relationships by providing tailored financial planning and investment advice
+ Develop comprehensive strategies covering retirement, tax, estate, insurance, and portfolio management
+ Support business growth through client referrals and expanding networks
+ Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality client service
+ Maintain compliance and accurate records of all client interactions

Requirements

Redwood Credit Union is looking for a Wealth Manager who will be responsible for supporting the planning, organization, and management of Redwood Credit Union's Wealth Management program. Emphasis is placed on providing excellent Member satisfaction and significantly growing sales and services provided through offering full-service investment and retirement products and services.
Essential Functions
Leadership
- Review and identify cost-effective utilization of all resources.
- Lead and direct the management of staff and directly supervised team members to ensure availability of skills and abilities needed to meet RCU's vision, mission, values, and service doctrine.
- Analyze and communicate information about performance, competition, marketplace, and company resources in a manner that balances immediate needs with those of the future.
- Manage the development of all assigned Advisors through an internal business development program and motivate staff to sell and market RCU.
- Participate in and represent Redwood Credit Union at internal and external events and community functions.
Sales and Service Management
- Mentor and coach sales and service results.
- Manage and direct assigned Advisors and Wealth Management products to provide exemplary service and generate non-interest income for RCU.
- Establish and/or implement measurement criteria for tracking results, assigning priorities and resources, and following through to ensure timely and accurate completion of assignments.
- Provide regular feedback and progress reports regarding Wealth Management sales practices and business development initiatives.
- Utilize reporting systems designed to keep the Leadership Team informed of all Wealth Management activities and production.
- Continually assess the competitiveness of all programs and practices against the relevant comparable companies, industries, and markets.
- Maintain relationships with external partners, Member Experience, Compliance, Legal, Risk, Marketing, and IT departments to deliver new products and promotions.
- Ensure compliance with pertinent government rules and regulations.
- Evaluate efforts to develop business to assure efficiency and resources are used to pursue opportunities within guidelines and policies.
- Work with Leadership on setting and meeting production goals and oversee the daily activities of assigned Wealth Management department team members.
- Design and implement training and continuing education programs for team members in conjunction with the Educational Development Department.
- Possess knowledge of department related regulations and communicate relevant updates to organization.
- Recruit, select, train, motivate, coach, evaluate and develop reporting staff.
- Lead investment initiatives, e.g., call nights, branch training, business outreach, etc.
- Travel to branches and departments regularly to market and promote Wealth Management to Members and team members.
- Maintain and recruit team members to meet targeted quantity and quality.
- Implement wealth management disciplines on effective Member engagement, planning, service models, and use of tools available through Redwood Credit Union and CUSO Financial Services.
- Develop and encourage sound Financial Planning practices by team members.
Planning
- Implement plans and policies to attain goals and objectives, measure progress and implement adjustments as appropriate.
- Support evaluation, research, and analysis to provide recommendations related to new and existing product offerings and partnerships.
- Assist in execution of Wealth Management strategic marketing plans in coordination with the Marketing & Communications Department.
- Assist in execution of strategies to support growth of Wealth Management as well as all other goals of Redwood Credit Union.
Other Functions
- Organize community seminars on investing, retirement planning, and other financial products offered.
- Volunteer time and capital in community non-profit groups and participate in community events, volunteer boards and associations.
Minimum Qualification: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Thorough knowledge of all aspects of Wealth Management offered by financial institutions.
- Thorough knowledge of modern management techniques and practices.
- Thorough knowledge of bank deposit products.
- Current knowledge of Federal and State investment laws, rules, and regulations.
- Knowledge of national and local economic and competitive trends and conditions.
- Strong negotiation and sales leadership skills.
- Ability to comply with all terms of RCU and CFS manuals and policies.
- Highly skilled in the operation of a personal computer with word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software with Intra/Internet access.
- Ability to lead and achieve results from others through motivation.
- Ability to analyze problems and opportunities, identify and evaluate alternatives, and develop sound, effective approaches.
- Ability to plan, implement, and evaluate the achievement of goals, objectives, and work plans.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and supervise team members.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationship with a diverse group of people including, regulators, Members, internal team members attorneys, vendors, and other parties.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to travel 50% of time.
Physical Requirements

- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.

- Work environment is indoors; majority of the time is spent sitting at a desk.
Certifications and Licenses
- FINRA Series 7, 24 (or 9/10), 66 (or 63/65) licenses required.
- California Life Insurance.
The ideal candidate has a combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a closely related field, with a minimum of eight years of experience in financial services, including investments and insurance.
Compensation: Base starting range: $138,112 to $81,980 annually + Commission
Our base salary starting range is based on scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, and internal peer equity. Zuckerman Investment Group is looking for a highly motivated, experienced individual to join our Wealth Management Team. This position is a unique, newly created opportunity to participate in the expansion of an established firm. A strong candidate will have excellent written and oral communication skills, impeccable judgment, exceptional organization skills and experience cultivating relationships through superior client service.
JOB FUNCTION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Exemplify the core values of Zuckerman Investment Group.
- Deliver personalized and proactive financial counseling services for 50-100 high net worth clients.
- Manage client relationships and ensure long term retention through regular communication to review portfolio strategy, account activity and performance.
- Lead, manage and hold accountable the internal client team and prioritize open client requests.
- Work with the Portfolio Manager to implement and monitor client asset allocations and investment strategies.
- Grow your client base through client and COI (Center of Influence) referrals.
- 5+ years of related investment and portfolio management experience required.
- Outstanding work ethic, attention to detail and ability to work well on a team and cross functionally.
- Proven ability to grasp and comprehend highly complex, widely varied problems and concepts and then communicate them in a simple, straightforward manner.
- Maintains the highest standard of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.

SALARY AND BENEFITS:
The base pay range for this position is $25,000 - 200,000 annually. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as education, experience, and skills.
Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation. We provide industry-competitive salaries and significant incentive plan opportunities, a generous profit sharing 401(k) retirement plan, health insurance, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability programs, a hybrid work environment and paid-time-off programs and opportunities for growth within the firm. Redwood Credit Union is looking for a Wealth Manager who will be responsible for supporting the planning, organization, and management of Redwood Credit Union's Wealth Management program. Emphasis is placed on providing excellent Member satisfaction and significantly growing sales and services provided through offering full-service investment and retirement products and services.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Leadership
- Review and identify cost-effective utilization of all resources
- Lead and direct the management of staff and directly supervised team members to ensure availability of skills and abilities needed to meet RCUs vision, mission, values, and service doctrine
- Analyze and communicate information about performance, competition, marketplace, and company resources in a manner that balances immediate needs with those of the future
- Manage the development of all assigned Advisors through an internal business development program and motivate staff to sell and market RCU

- Support evaluation, research, and analysis to provide recommendations related to new and existing product offerings and partnerships
- Assist in execution of Wealth Management strategic marketing plans in coordination with the Marketing & Communications Department
- Assist in execution of strategies to support growth of Wealth Management as well as all other goals of Redwood Credit Union
- Organize community seminars on investing, retirement planning, and other financial products offered
- Volunteer time and capital in community non-profit groups and participate in community events, volunteer boards and associations
- Thorough knowledge of all aspects of Wealth Management offered by financial institutions
- Thorough knowledge of modern management techniques and practices
- Thorough knowledge of bank deposit products
- Current knowledge of Federal and State investment laws, rules, and regulations
- Knowledge of national and local economic and competitive trends and conditions
- Strong negotiation and sales leadership skills
- Ability to comply with all terms of RCU and CFS manuals and policies

Compensation: Base starting range: $138,112 to $81,980 annually + Commission

Alloy Silverstein is a multi-office regional accounting and financial services firm seeking a full-time Wealth Manager for our Cherry Hill, NJ office location.

While Alloy Silverstein Accountants and Advisors has been a prominent South Jersey CPA firm since 1959, the financial services division was created in 1999. Led by Managing Shareholder Ren Cicalese, CPA, PFS, CGMA and Director of Financial Services Ronald Donato, MBA, CFP , Alloy Silverstein Financial Services specializes in providing personalized and tax-smart financial planning, investing and retirement solutions, and wealth management services to business owners, families, attorneys, medical professionals, professional athletes, and shared clients of the CPA firm.
This role will be focused on the financial planning and wealth management services side of the firm. The Wealth Manager will initially work alongside the Director of Financial Services to manage daily client interactions, participate in meetings, provide financial planning, investment and insurance solutions for clients and prospective clients, and coordinate this activity with our CPA partners. We would anticipate that the Wealth Manager will become the Director of Financial Services when the current Director retires. This position does require fingerprinting prior to accessing client data or financial paperwork.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Managing the client experience by greeting clients with both verbal communication and written correspondence
- Analyzing data for client meetings, investment and insurance recommendations
- Preparing financial plans to meet client needs and goals
- Maintaining comprehensive and accurate records, documentation, and reports to assure full compliance as required by board standards and our broker dealer
- Updating CRM and logging all of the Wealth Managers client interactions
- Making recommendations for new client accounts
- Reviewing insurance applications that are initiated by your Administrative Assistants, as well as other relevant information in connection with account opening
- Keeping current on various licensing and compliance requirements, including continuing education required by our broker-dealer
- Attending weekly status and strategy meetings to address planning of priorities
- Working alongside Marketing to plan mail/email newsletters and client marketing materials
- Becoming thoroughly familiar with broker dealers systems and procedures
Requirements:
- Excellent business communication skills with emphasis on a positive customer service experience
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while balancing and prioritizing daily responsibilities
- Thorough and detail-oriented
- Prior system and program knowledge a plus: Microsoft Office Suite and Redtail CRM, financial planning software
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and conduct business professionally
- Reliable and dependable with an excellent attendance and punctuality record
- Work well independently and in a team with positive attitude and professional presence
- Have a focus on acting in the best interest of clients and prospective clients
Qualification requirements:
- College degree, preferably in Accounting and/or Finance
- 7+ years of industry experience
- Prior background/experience in Avantax and SEI a plus
- FINRA series 6 and/or series 7, FINRA Series 63 and 65 or 66, and insurance license
- CFP designation preferred, but can obtain after starting
- Able to work flexible and/or overtime hours including Saturdays and late evenings based upon work and peak busy times during accounting season
This is a full-time position with hours Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. During tax season, additional hours will most likely be required. Compensation is based on experience. Dress code is business casual.
