Your Mission:
As a senior Software Developer, lead the design, development, and modification of enterprise-wide systems and applications, applying advanced expertise throughout the software development lifecycle.
This role includes overseeing software updates, testing, debugging, and ensuring that systems meet business needs while providing guidance for future maintenance and improvements. Additionally, the advisor will offer in-depth analysis and reporting on project specifications, activities, and progress to ensure alignment with business objectives.

Certifications:

Sustainment Division Support. The Sustainment Division provides GCC mission services to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of operational support services for both the GCC and the Warfighter. The Sustainment Division provides foundational services such as continual process improvement, cost control, mission planning, and opportunities for organizational efficiencies which include development of tools, asset management (HW/SW) for LCM and property accountability and security control to protect GCC CONUS managed DODIN-A services (NIPRNet and SIPRNet).
* The Web Hosting service provides custom web-based, data driven applications in both SharePoint and Java in support of the GCC mission. The team implements the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) standard to help plan and design the processes that go into programming the end solution. This involves extensive documentation in the form of requirements and interface mockups, etc. The team also provides O&M for all deployed applications which includes the development of user guides and other training materials/videos, in-person training, bug tracking and resolution through ITSM, maintaining the web application server and SharePoint site collections, and facilitating requests for new functionality to existing applications as well as requests for new sites and applications.
* Web Site Support and Maintenance. The GCC maintains internal and Enterprise web portal and web-based collaborative platforms and services in support of internal operation, Enterprise mission overview, and operational collaboration. Support the Government in managing hosting support services to include access, security, auditing, and backups for the web portal and other GCC web-based collaborative platforms, services, and tools.
* Web Site Development and Maintenance. Develop, monitor, secure, sustain, and operate Enterprise NIPRNet and SIPRNet web portals and applications. On-call support 24 hours a day, seven (7) days a week. Historically 850 NIPRNet and 500 SIPRNet event/incident/service request tickets require resolution each year. Performs the following Web site development and maintenance functions:
* Set up, configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade the Enterprise NIPRNet and SIPRNet web portals. The web server and services are run on both Microsoft and non-Microsoft Operating Systems/applications.
* Provide development and administration support for GCC's content and applications hosted on web-based collaborative platforms to include SharePoint.
* Move hardware and capabilities to SIPRNet as required.
* Operate and maintain the CONUS Network Security Center (NSC) portals which provide Army leadership and Theater customers with situational awareness information regarding the status of the DoDIN-A.
* Maintain and administer web servers and perform backups of all web content.
* Design and develop web graphics, web pages, web sites, and interactive web applications to include an internal web-based, data-sharing application to store and display all reports, SOPs, manuals, and forms used by the GCC. Design team personnel are required to utilize a wide variety of development tools from Adobe, Oracle Microsoft, BMC, and Java and must have experience in database design.
* Implement technical security and cybersecurity best practices for establishing, maintaining, and administering web sites IAW NETCOM Regulation 25-70, Web Content Administration, Policies, and Procedures, and other applicable regulations.
* Maintain and evaluate web server audit and usage control logs.
* Ensure internal web services are Common Access Card (CAC)-enabled.
* Control web site access and monitor write, access, and edit privileges for all web sites on GCC web servers.

ABOUT THE POSITION
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Web Developer to join our eCommerce team. In this role, you will support the development and maintenance of our online store, assist with front-end and back-end coding tasks, and contribute to enhancing the customer experience across digital platforms.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their technical skills in a fast-paced eCommerce environment. This role is considered hybrid, in the office in Bloomington, MN every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday with flexibility on Mondays and Fridays to be remote.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
• Assist in the design, coding, and maintenance of company eCommerce websites.
• Work with senior developers to build new web pages and features using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and templating engines.
• Collaborate with designers, marketers, and product managers to implement UI/UX improvements.
• Troubleshoot and debug website issues to ensure optimal performance.
• Help integrate third-party tools, plugins, and APIs (e.g., payment gateways, analytics, shipping platforms).
• Ensure websites are responsive, accessible, and optimized for performance and SEO.
• Conduct website testing and support A/B testing initiatives.
• Stay current with web development trends and eCommerce best practices.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Equivalent experience to, or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
• .NET and MCS experience is a plus
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with eCommerce platforms (e.g., CommerceTools, Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce) is a plus.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) is a plus.
• Understanding of responsive design and mobile-first development.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a team environment.
• Portfolio of web projects (class assignments, personal projects, internships) preferred.
