Job ResponsibilitiesThe Activity Assistant will work directly under the supervision of the Activity Director to organize, direct and execute a well-balanced activity program. The program must be diversified enough to meet the varying needs of the residents with regard to age, background, physical limitations, interests, mental capacity, et. The program should include, but not limited to the following:Daily visitation on a one to one basis for residents on the One to One program.Selection of appropriate programs for the residents on the one to one program. (crafts, table games, service projects, intellectual activities, etc.).Balance of small, medium and large group activities, as well as a balance of programs held on the varied floors and in the central activity room.Balance of recreational, intellectual, religious service and community orientated programs.Daily group exercise on floors where feasible, individual exercises when group sessions are not possible.Leadership of evening and weekend programs at the direction of the Activity Director.Daily recording of resident's participation in activities. Charting residents progress quarterly or more often as needed.Participation in the formulation of individual goals for each resident in cooperation with all departments, nursing, dietary, etc. (Attendance at patient - care conferences at the direction of the activity director.)Attendance at in-service classes and workshops, both within and outside the facility and department conferences with consultant at the discretion of the Activity Director.Contacting each new resident and familiarizing them with the activity opportunities available to them.Assist in the formation of the monthly activity schedule and in the evaluation of all programs.Responsible for the daily preparation of materials and supplies needed for the day's programs and for informing the Activity Director of supplies that need to be acquired for upcoming programs.Coordination of goals, schedule and program as not to clash with, but rather assist with all other departments.

**Responsibilities**
+ Operate the press machine by loading parts, setting measurements, and starting the press process.
+ Prepare finished products and place them on pallets for shipping.
+ Organize and track work orders using paper documentation.
+ Inspect parts for quality assurance.
+ Utilize forklift experience to operate the pull truck or 'carpet puller'.
**Essential Skills**
+ 2+ years of manufacturing and machine operating experience.
+ Ability to operate a sit-down forklift.
+ Proficiency with tape measures and assembly tasks.
+ Mechanically inclined with experience in machine operating and color matching.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Printing experience is desired but not required.
+ Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality checks.
+ Competency in handling paperwork and maintaining organization.
**Work Environment**
The role is based in a manufacturing environment with weekend shifts from 5 AM to 5 PM (Friday - Sunday). Training occurs Monday through Thursday from 5 AM to 3:30 PM for 4 to 6 weeks. Breaks include two 10-minute breaks and one 20-minute unpaid lunch. The facility can vary in temperature, being slightly cold or hot, but is not fully temperature controlled. A $2 shift differential applies to all weekend shift roles.

This position is responsible for supporting and coordinating the administrative activities of the nursing unit. May be assigned to cover multiple units.
Essential Responsibilities:
+ Processes transfers and discharges using the Admit-Discharge-Transfer (ADT) system in the electronic medical record.
+ Answers and appropriately routes internal and external telephone calls.
+ Orders materials and supplies for the unit, and collects equipment and medication from the dumb waiter system.
+ Answers call system from nurses station; follows up with patient and/or family as appropriate.
+ Makes follow-up appointments for patients as necessary.
+ In conjunction with Discharge Coordinator, organizes transfers to skilled nursing facilities, including printing relevant sections of the patient chart.
+ Prepares discharge packets and other documents for patients (including maternal/baby).
+ Maintains the units business equipment, including maintaining appropriately charged wireless carts.
+ Arranges for special maintenance or repair of the units business equipment.
+ Updates the units white board (this function may be eliminated).
+ Maintains the Minimum Record.
+ Assists unit personnel in the use of the electronic medical record and other systems; may act as the unit resource for computer-related issues.
+ Acts as greeter for the unit, greeting new patients and their families.
+ Coordinates discharge times, contacts family members with discharge information, and otherwise facilitates a timely discharge when the patient is ready.
+ Initiates units downtime procedures when necessary.
+ Communicates with other units/departments.
+ May support Environmental Services in the data entry into the ADT system the status of clean and dirty beds.
