In the Production Associate Welder role, you will set-up and perform metal joining and cutting operations, with ferrous and nonferrous metals such as (steel, aluminum, and cast metals), with or without fixtures, using a variety of welding equipment. Be responsible for quality, including measuring finished parts with tape measure and/or calipers, visual inspections of material, identifying nonconforming parts, and troubleshooting errors. Follow detail instructions to ensure precise words and maintain structural integrity. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues with welding equipment. Demonstrate strong attention to detail in all aspects of welding process. Under the direction of the Maintenance Operations Specialist Supervisor, the custodian will assist in keeping the campus clean and safe. They will perform routine and special cleaning of facilities and buildings to ensure they are clean in a sanitary and orderly fashion. In addition, the custodian will support campus events and rentals, including setup and breakdown.
Essential Functions
25% - Cleans and sanitizes classrooms, common areas, restrooms, locker rooms and equipment; washes and cleans walls, windows, vents, lights including replacing ceiling lamps.20% - Dusts and polishes furniture and fixtures; empties trash for classrooms and common areas. 20% - Event setup and campus support, including the moving of tables, chairs, equipment, risers, and tents.20% - Sweeps, mops, waxes and vacuums floors/ carpets (Must operate equipment such as buffer, auto-scrubbers and burnishers).10% - Performs assigned tasks in response to requests and concerns; keeps assigned tools and /or equipment clean and in safe working condition.5% - Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Completion of formal or informal education or experience which assures the ability to read, write, and speak at a level sufficient for the successful completion of the job duties as described.
Desired Qualifications
A. Two years' experience in cleaning a school, college, or equivalent (government or business office, etc.).
B. Two years' experience in event setup and support.
C. One year of experience using and labeling of cleaning products.
D. One year of experience running floor care equipment, including stripping and waxing floors.
