Position Overview:
As a Weekend Supervisor, you will play a key role in overseeing and directing the daily operations of our Nursing Services Department. You will have the opportunity to work closely with residents, physicians, and the nursing team to ensure exceptional care and a positive environment for both staff and patients.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Assistant Director of Nursing Services in managing and leading the nursing team.
- Provide direct nursing care as needed.
- Conduct rounds to ensure nursing personnel are performing duties according to established standards.
- Collaborate with physicians and participate in rounds as necessary.
- Oversee new resident admissions and discharges, ensuring proper communication and execution.
- Review nursing documentation to ensure accuracy and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures.
- Provide reports and recommendations to the Director of Nursing Services and Administrator.
Qualifications:
- Valid RN/LVN license required.
- At least 1 year of experience in a long-term care facility, skilled nursing, or similar healthcare setting.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- A passion for improving the lives of residents through compassionate care.

Bryant Health and Rehab is hiring a RN WEEKEND SUPERVISOR to work both short term rehabilitation and long-term care.
Position Summary: Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, the incumbent RN Weekend Supervisor utilizes a general understanding of the principles of Nursing and basic physical assessment skills in the development of and implementation of individualized Nursing Care Plans to ensure that the needs of the customers are met. He/she assists in the orientation of and supervision of Nursing personnel, attends to the daily operations of the unit on a per shift, unit level and assumes responsibilities of a leadership role as needed.
Requirements:
- Must have a current Registered Nurse License issued in the state where the person will practice, and the candidate must be a graduate of an approved school of Nursing.
- Possess physical assessment skills and comprehensive knowledge of nursing principles are also required.
- Experience in geriatric or rehabilitative Nursing and experience in supervisory capacity are preferred.
