The Position:
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving, storing, and handling merchandise. They will scan received products into our inventory system and perform the daily cycle of picking and packing for incoming products. The Print-Shop Associate plays a crucial role in operating direct-to-garment (DTG) apparel printing machinery.
Essential Duties:
Receive incoming shipments and unload packages from trucks.
Load and unload packages into the warehouse without forklift driving.
Receive incoming units to begin the production line.
Operate direct-to-garment (DTG) apparel printing machinery for efficient product decoration.
Perform daily cycle of inventory control to ensure quality control of products before they leave the warehouse for delivery or installation. This includes inspecting all incoming products for damage and defects, as well as performing quality control checks on outgoing orders and deliveries.
Perform duties related to receiving, storing, processing, scanning, labeling, sorting, packing, loading, and unloading without forklift operation.
Work in an environment that may be subject to extreme temperatures (hot & cold), heavy lifting & unloading of boxes & pallets, and general warehouse tasks such as cleaning & organizing.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs., and push pull up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to operate power tools and machinery related to DTG printing and warehouse tasks.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Be flexible and willing to be cross-trained into other departments.
