As a Tire & Wheel Alignment Technician / Automotive Technician, you are essential to the success of our tire shop. With great precision, you utilize tire and balancing machines to mount, balance, and align tires and wheels. Our customers know that they can depend on you to keep their vehicles rolling smoothly.
You also help oversee activity within our tire shop. This includes ensuring shop safety guidelines are followed, paperwork is completed, and inventory, product, tools, and equipment are properly maintained. As merchandise arrives, you properly label and organize it. You love the variety in your work and look forward to coming to work each day.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid state driver's license with a clean driving history
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
- Physical ability to perform typical tasks associated with this position
Prior experience as a tire technician, wheel specialist, automotive technician, or wheel alignment technician would be helpful! These positions will focus on reconditioning incoming trade vehicles by performing inspections, changing oil/fluids/filters/wiper blades, and performing any basic repairs that the vehicle needs upon your first look. You’ll need to be able to handle a variety of light mechanical work such as; brakes, tires, alignments, battery installs, fuel pumps, axle seals, oil cooler lines, and other similar repairs. Some light diagnostic work may also be required – but any advanced diagnostics, advanced repairs, or warranty work will be dispatched to our main shops for completion by other Techs.
We’ve designed these positions with a specific structure to deal with incoming trade inventory in a stress-free operating environment. You’ll be working in a brand-new climate-controlled facility (no matter the season!) that features new hoists, new benches, and no flat-rate work. Plus, our shops are actually a really fun place to work – with great people and full access to tech fridges/pantries filled with FREE food, snacks, and drinks while you’re on the job.
Preferred applicants for this full-time position need to be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license & an acceptable safe driving record. Above all else, you’ll need to be a positive team player with a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn and grow.
This position is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm. Overtime may be available but is not required.
