The Window Installer is a key member of our team responsible for high quality and efficient installation of residential replacement windows. Ideally, you will have at least 2+ years prior experience in the window industry and have proven communication skills with supervisors, employees, and customers. You are self-motivated and enjoy working independently.

Specific Responsibilities:

Install glass, mirrors, door and window hardware in replacement and new installations

Ensure the efficient use of materials and maintain adequate stock of vehicle

Quote and sell flat glass and window products and services to customers

Accurately measure and cut flat glass and mirrors according to specified dimensions and patterns

Complete invoices, collect payments, update status, enter measurements and notes into tablet

Keep company vehicle and equipment properly serviced, clean, and in good working order and condition

Be the smiling face of Glass Doctor, exemplifying our values and exuding the confidence of a true professional

Job Requirements:

Prior experience in the replacement window and flat glass industry installing windows, hardware, insulated glass, storefronts, and/or shower enclosures is a plus

Proficiency to navigate tablet-based technology

• Install windows according to specifications and industry standards.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and effectively during installations.

Job Overview
We are seeking an Installer with a VALID DRIVERS LICENSE to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in Glass installation, carpentry or Construction. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects and showcase your expertise in various installation tasks.

Duties
- Perform fixture installation according to schematics and project requirements
- Utilize carpentry skills for tasks such as drywall, glass installation, frame carpentry, trim carpentry, and door hanging
- Fabricate components as needed for installation projects
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of installations

Skills
- Proficiency in fixture installation and carpentry techniques
- Strong understanding of construction estimating principles
- Experience with drywall, glass installation, frame carpentry, trim carpentry, and door hanging
- Ability to interpret schematics and project specifications
- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship

• Comply with Champion engineering specifications as well as regulatory code requirements, safety procedures & techniques

• Review contract folder and all instructions/drawings before leaving on assignments to clarify work to be completed

• Responsible for the installation of the windows, doors, exterior/interior trim and apply clean caulking line; ensure a Champion quality job is completed in a safe and timely manner

• Interact with Champion customers in a professional manner, while maintaining the integrity of Champion's reputation

• Ensure vehicle being driving is fully equipped with all necessary parts, products, tools, and resources necessary to complete assigned projects

• High School diploma or GED required, associate degree or trade school experience in construction or related field preferred

• Clean driving record with the ability to regularly operate and manage the maintenance of a fleet vehicle
