GENERAL SUMMARY:
Provides systems support for the distribution center. Partners with distribution center staff to analyze and provide solutions for system gaps.
DUTIES and ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
* Usually puts out files and secures initial file runs; communicates with distribution center DOT regarding orders.
* Prints warehouse labels and breakdown by zone.
* Schedules moves, replenishments, cycle counts and inquires on SKU numbers.
* May process automatic and special shipments.
* Performs preventative maintenance on equipment.
* Diagnoses OCE Printers for minor repairs and preventative maintenance.
* Programs radio frequency units; mails radio frequency units for repair.
* Communicates effectively, oral and written, with all DC staff cycle count inventory adjustments and radio frequency problem resolution.
* May perform Order Processor, Cycle Counter, or Trailer Locater/Verifier responsibilities when needed.
* Maintains warehouse supplies such as bar code labels, green bar paper, and license plates.
* Meets and maintains safety, quality and productivity standards.
Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS:
* Good planning and organizational skills.
* Analytical skills and detail oriented; ability to make decisions based on process analysis.
* Knowledge of networks and downloads between ALPHA/WMS.
* Understanding of building charts, numbering system, zones, location classes, master, pick, storage and replenishment strategies.

The **WMS Superuser** reports to the Senior Logistics Manager and has responsibility for recommending, developing, and maintaining present and future systems that support the facilities operations, logistics, and inventory process. Also works closely with the US Team to ensure Ryder has continuity among all their warehouses.
**Essential Functions**
+ Maintain proper slotting configuration (Rack and Pick slots) to ensure efficiency in the warehouse
+ Staffing performance management and development of exempt and non-exempt employees
+ Develop and maintain inter-related computer systems that functionally support the facility in all areas of operations including production, maintenance, warehousing, and administration.

In addition to machining, you will have responsibility for assembling components and other duties as assigned. Machinists are responsible for working together as a team to improve manufacturing processes and promote a climate of cooperation.CNC Machinist may include but is not limited to the following:Understand and perform all functions required to set up and operate a variety of CNC and /or manual machining equipment including but not limited to: 4 axis vertical lathes, horizontal boring machines, gear hobber, gear grinder, cylindrical grinder, radial arm drill and coordinate measuring machinesUse standard machine tools including, but not limited to drill press, band saw, lathe, press breaks, welding equipment etc., and a variety of hand, electric, and pneumatic toolsChange and adjust tools as required to maintain qualitySet up both fixtures and parts for machiningDe-burr partsUse manual and electronic inspection devices to check multiple quality parametersSet up and perform simple welding operationsOther DutiesPromote climate of cooperation; leading by example mentoring others in safety, quality, environmental, lean and high performance work team philosophiesWork with all facility employees on improving manufacturing processes through prototyping, fabrication and experimental machining to develop and prove concepts and design and implement necessary fixtures and tooling for manufacturing improvementsAssembly of components and full assembly of finished partsPaint applications including but not limited to dry sanding, masking, unmasking, primer paint application, seal and touch up workMaterial transport including the use of but not limited to, radio controlled cranes, forklifts and tuggersPrying and setting heavy equipment may also be requiredAll machinists will perform multiple tasks in any combination and concentration of the above-mentioned areas and will rotate through all or most of the processes rather than being assigned to a specific task. Machinist must be able to work as part of a team having responsibility for assembling numerous components and other duties as assigned.Qualifications/Basic RequirementsStarting Pay is $33.87/hr (up to $4.97/hr after 6-month progression and 36.07/hr at 4 years of service) with night shift differential of 1/hr when working 2nd shift hours.Available shifts:4 day, 10 hour work week: 4-day (Monday through Thursday), 10-hour shift work week. Shift hours are 3:15PM - 1:45AM (2nd Shift). Must be able to work scheduled shift hours.1-year CNC Machining experienceMinimum of 1 year of experience using blue prints and manufacturing instructions to produce machined parts.Must be able to lift material up to 40 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.Must have ability to properly use and care for assigned tools and equipment.Must be able to adhere to standards, do a quality job in a safe manner, within allotted time.Must have basic computer skills.Must be able to pass a pre-employment technical assessment.Every employee will be an in-process inspector.Must be 18 years of age or older.Must have high-school diploma or GED or equivalent.Must be willing to wear personal protective equipment, for example safety glasses, gloves, hats, ear plugs and safety shoes.Must be willing to work in a tobacco-free environment.Be willing to take a drug test & submit to a background check as part of the selection process.Be willing to submit to random drug tests.Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
