Workforce Staffing (WFS), a division of Worldwide Operations People, Product & Tech, manages Amazon's Tier 1 talent (Front-line associates) supply chain. The Workforce Staffing (WFS) Team is looking for a Staffing Manager. In this multi-purpose leadership role; you will own both engagement and optimization for a defined geography. Creating a collaborative team environment and a strong candidate oriented culture that ensures deliver of efficient, effective, quality driven service to business partners is essential for success.
The Staffing Manager will focus in three key areas:
1) Owning the strategic development and delivery of community engagement plans
2) Executing labor demand plans for multiple sites across the node
3) execution of candidate engagement activities &
4) development of relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to build long term partnerships.
Successful candidates will be a strategic and analytical thinker who can see around corners and demonstrate a passion for process improvement, candidate experience and onboarding process improvement. Key job responsibilities
· Partners with local Site Leadership teams to include but not limited to Operations, Finance, Human Resources, and associated workflow teams to optimize labor requirements
· Forecast labor demand plans and create scalable staffing strategies to build infrastructure and ensure team resource capabilities meet business demand
· Evolve and implement labor acquisition strategies inclusive of employee class recommendations, labor pool utilization, talent pool conversion and other channel resources across different Amazon businesses
· Manage and own cost per hire budgets through oversight of labor acquisition, advertising and other talent acquisition costs within the cluster
· Manage and build strategies to optimize candidate cycle time, conversion rates and applicant funnel metrics to benchmark
· Exceed associate experience service levels and KPI's measured by hiring activity results and defect reduction
· Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly reporting of Workforce Staffing performance via Key Performance Indicators
· Evolve and implement strategies based on consistently changing needs of the business by tracking hiring event schedules and forecasted attendance rates

A day in the life
The role holder will solve complex hiring-related problems for INOPS. They will manage key program priorities for the India WFS team while collaborating closely with multiple functions. Additionally, they will be responsible for delivering hiring requirements across assigned sites. They will partner with key stakeholders including Operations, Learning, HRBPs, and external manpower agency partners to ensure successful outcomes.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

A day in the life
As a Regional Manager you oversee and are accountable but not limited for two main aspects of the Work Force Staffing field operations for a defined geography of multiple(nodes) or market segments with 6 direct reports. 1) Operations of New Hire Events (NHE) including schedules, organizing resources and ensuring node leaders are delivering on all KIP's, 2) WFS Regional Manager will be responsible for developing strategic plan to engage and develop reporting leaders.
Regionals will be required to visit adjacent NHE sites within a reasonable travel time radius inside the home market during non-travel weeks. For this position travel to the Seattle Market will be required outside travel week schedule. Travel week will consist of a regional visit to each of their Region's nodes, completing a WFS Regional Visit Form a minimum of once Node per quarter. Travel will account up to 75% of the time.
The Northwest Region covers main and surrounding areas for Seattle/Kent area, Boise ID, Denver CO, Spokane WA, Portland OR, Sal Lake City UT.
Basic Qualifications

The Workforce Staffing (WFS) Candidate Attraction team is seeking a Market Response Specialist to drive strategic relationship management and candidate sourcing initiatives across one of four US territories. This role is critical in rapidly deploying solutions to mitigate fill risk for sites across the network through strategic partnerships with community organizations. The primary focus is building and maintaining strategic relationships with workforce development organizations, government agencies, educational institutions, and non-profit organizations to source candidates for entry-level warehouse roles.
The Market Response Specialist will own both regional and national workforce relationships, with particular emphasis on building networks in specific risk markets. Their core objectives include increasing Associate Day 1 Starts (D1S), driving leads generation for candidate pipeline development, and reducing operational costs through strategic venue sourcing for New Hire Events (NHE). This role requires agility in balancing multiple concurrent projects while swiftly realigning efforts in response to changing business priorities.
Success in this position demands the ability to develop innovative strategies for enhancing partnership impact, implementing strategic pilots, and driving fill rates through creative solutions.
