The Headcount Strategy team supports divisional CFOs and COOs with headcount and payroll reporting and analysis. We leverage predicative models and open role management to enable strategic decision-making, and give insights into attrition trends, hiring capacity, and progress to targets.
JOB SUMMARY AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build advisory relationship with divisional CFOs and COOs, recommending how to achieve multi-year headcount budgets and payroll budgets
- Develop & deliver weekly and monthly reports to divisional leadership on headcount and compensation trends and progress to targets
- Perform ad-hoc analysis and presentations based on current attrition, hiring trends, and demands of division heads, CFOs, and COOs, and divisionally aligned Business Partners
- Partner with Anaplan COE colleagues and HCM Business Partners to develop self-service reporting and dashboards to address internal client needs
- Use predictive analytics to guide decision-making, developing or enhancing tools as necessary
- Model projected attrition, hiring capacity, and financial impacts of location footprint, organizational pyramid, and headcount changes
- Streamline budget and reforecast processes through new strategic Anaplan platform
- Assist divisions with the management of their open roles, including creating them and maintain appropriate access to the system
- Work closely with the firms financial planning team to manage headcount, payroll and Comp expense to provide relevant budget reporting and analysis to firmwide senior management
- Coordinate with junior team members to deliver reports and products to internal stakeholders

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree preferred (analytical field such as Finance, Mathematics or Accounting)
- Approximately 7+ years relevant work experience
- Comfortable working with Excel to review large data sets and analyze historical data

- Demonstrate knowledge of using PowerPoint to design management-level presentations

BryceTech is looking for a Workforce Planning Specialist to provide support, analysis, and insights for our federal government client, including the development and implementation of workforce position management reviews and a succession plan.
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Collaborating with the Organizational Consulting Lead to design, plan, and execute multiple position management reviews.
- Serving as a thought partner in the creation and execution of a succession planning strategy, incorporating best practices from government and industry.
- Analyzing workforce supply and demand to identify current and future capability gaps within a highly technical and specialized workforce.
- Compiling and analyzing workforce trend data from disparate sources (e.g., ALDS, BOBJ, PDW, and other custom reports) to generate actionable insights.
- Creating and updating Power BI dashboards; designing customized Microsoft Workspace environments as needed to manage user-specific security restrictions.
- Developing reports that integrate complex datasets across multiple agency platforms.
- Applying advanced Excel functions (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, and custom formulas) to produce analytics and visualizations, while ensuring accurate interpretation of federal HR coding and classification systems.

- Developing project schedules, preparing briefing packages and presentations, and partnering with civil servant counterparts on workforce planning initiatives.

- Graduate degree in a related field with 6 years of experience, or a bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience in an appropriate specialization.

- Strong experience in federal HR data management systems; prior NASA experience preferred.

The Workforce Planning Consultant is accountable for the development and maintenance of comprehensive staffing models supporting Operations Service/Call Centers. The models determine resource (staff) requirements for workload demands. The models contemplate business processes, staff productivity, timeliness, growth, invest initiatives, transfer of work, as well as turnover and hiring. - Establish staff plans and/or capacity requirements based on data and analytics. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of staffing model inputs and methodology. Work closely with Operations business partners in the development of work process time standards.

- Working closely with the Operational Lines Finance, Expense and Operations leads, identify trends, quantify impacts, and communicate business results relative to staffing implications on a monthly basis. Respond to "what-if" scenarios, cost benefit requests, and other projects that have staffing implications. Able to quantify implications of initiatives on staffing needs.
- Understand the interrelationship between model variables and the impact to service level commitments.
- Develop benchmarking metrics in order to understand efficiency/productivity of actual planned staffing levels. Assess risk and opportunities.
- Develop and maintain expertise in business process. Be able to translate into working staff model that allows the isolation of impacts of change in variables. - Participate in model optimization techniques that drive efficiency and optimize resource utilization.
- Play a key role in the financial outlook and operating plan process by submitting staffing projections for current and outer years. Communicate detailed explanations of change drivers and gain approval from leadership on an ongoing basis.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in constructing quantitative analysis and/or workforce modeling in a professional environment

Compensation
The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. What is a Workforce Planning Analyst?
Performs essential duties relevant to billing, payroll, accounting, and other fiscal/operational functions. Working within the Finance Department, the WPA is an essential role of the team as many of the daily tasks are confined to strict timelines and requirements. Billing and payroll due dates are specific to each month and pay periods within each month, so the role requires extreme levels of consistency and reliability. Role may include some general office tasks (filing, reporting, etc.) throughout the course of each month, along with monitoring schedules, employee callouts and other various matters directly correlated to fiscal matters.
