You Will:

  • Take accurate patient vital signs and record them in the patient's chart and/or electronic medical records system; for patient flow and accurate encounter documentation.
  • Give intramuscular and subcutaneous injections, draw blood, and/or collect / label / route / test specimens as needed.
  • Accurately maintain and record patient calendars and records.
  • Work with staff to facilitate scheduling of diagnostic testing and to obtain insurance authorizations as required.
  • Stock and maintain all supply levels for assigned area; order and restock following site guidelines / protocols.
  • Comply with all HIPAA guidelines, confidently guidelines, and safety guidelines for a laboratory / clinical environment. Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and exercise universal precautions when dealing with all patients and exams.
  • Organize and assist patient flow through the clinic area.
  • Work with all levels of medical office staff.
  • Assist in obtaining patient's test results and other diagnostic records for physicians and/or nurses.
  • Coordinate consultation services or imaging studies for the patients as specified by management and/or clinical staff.
  • Support physicians / nurses with procedures as needed; may include set up of tools / equipment, assistance with procedures, and/or clean up.
  • Identify and communicate important issues or problems to management.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and compliant laboratory space. Decontaminate equipment, tools, and exam / procedure rooms using the designated products and procedures.
  • Attend and participate in meetings, seminars, and training as required.
  • Comply with all company practice, policies and procedures.

  • Excellent public relation, verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills are required.

We're offering an up to $17,500 sign-on bonus with previous MRI experience or willing to do all weekend shifts! Two-year commitment.

The Radiologic Technologist performs quality imaging procedures by applying ionizing radiation for an accurate diagnosis, and is responsible for patient flow, supplies, equipment management, and CT QC testing. Job Summary and Qualifications

Job Summary:

Provide leadership for planning, management, implementation, integration and coordination of the Diagnostic Imaging Services in support of facility goals dedicated to excellence, effective leadership, and financial stability. Support the delivery of the high quality, cost effective patient care through activities based on facility strategic goals and objectives.

What you will do in this role:

  • Directs development of specific short and long-range programs and project plans to obtain the facility objectives.

  • Responsible for the planning and coordination of Diagnostic Imaging departments daily activities, the operational efficiency and effectiveness as well as major impact on all other hospital areas.

  • Effectively interviews and selects a qualified number of personnel as required to meet department objectives. Ensures hiring practices conform to appropriate Affirmative Action/EEO practices and regulations.

  • Provides direction to the staff and supervisors of the Diagnostic Imaging Services. Reviews performance of the department staff and approves staff evaluations. Responsible for appropriate disciplinary action of staff members as needed.

  • Oversees the prioritization of projects and directs resources to ensure the attainment of facility goals.

  • Responsible for ensuring the department meets and adheres to all applicable federal, state, JCAHO, and local regulatory agency requirements and for ensuring the department and facilities success in any regulatory survey.

  • Participates on various committees and other task forces as may be established by management to plan, organize and drive the facility.

  • Directs and/or participates in regular discussions and reviews on a variety of diverse/complex issues including financial and administrative matters, which have hospital-wide impact.

  • Responsible for making decisions required to maintain acceptable operations based on strategic goals and policies. Displays ingenuity and foresight in determining the most appropriate solution in the absence of established guidelines.

  • Confers with other department directors when necessary to resolve procedural difficulties, clarifying department responsibilities, objectives and resolving identified problems.

Serves as a patient advocate

Works closely with the Medical Directors and the hospital administration regarding capital equipment acquisition, facility and staffing needs

Ensures compliance with all state and federal guidelines

Keeps current with communications

Develops and implements policies and procedures that guide and support the provision of services

Interprets and applies hospital administrative and personnel policies

Actively participates in designing the approach to assessing and improving the performance of care and services provided, and ensure that it is implemented through monitoring and evaluation
