Southpaw Yacht Sales is a leading yacht brokerage firm serving clients looking to purchase or sell their next boat. We provide a full-service brokerage experience for our clients. The company has a 17-year history with multiple locations.
We are looking for additional brokers for our Fairfield County and Westchester County markets. Our candidate is a team player and is highly motivated as well as an experienced broker looking to be a part of our highly effective sales platform and growing firm. You multi-task well and have a passion for the boating and marine industry as well as customer service. You know how to attract listings, understand market trends, pricing, and negotiation strategies within the marine industry.
As a Southpaw Yacht Sales Broker, You Will Be Responsible For:- Actively prospect and identify potential buyers and sellers of yachts and boats.
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget constraints.
- Acquiring new yacht listings by networking, prospecting, and establishing connections within the yachting community.
- Maintain a working knowledge of brokerages current inventory.
- Keeping up-to-date with the yachting market trends, including pricing, availability, and new developments.
- Arranging and conducting yacht showings for potential buyers, showcasing features, and highlighting the benefits of each vessel.
- Negotiating prices and terms between buyers and sellers to facilitate yacht sales transactions, in collaboration with the management team.
- Work closely with the in-house closing team to oversee and manage the necessary paperwork, contracts, and legal requirements involved in yacht sales transactions.
- Providing exceptional customer service throughout the buying or selling process, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Manage the entire sales process from initial inquiry to final transaction, including documentation and closing.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries, offering expert advice and solutions tailored to their needs.
- Conduct follow-ups and maintain regular communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
- Minimum 3 5 years of marine industry experience.
- Strong knowledge of yachts, boats, and marine equipment.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and industry professionals.
- Proficiency in digital marketing and social media platforms.
- Solid experience in sales/brokerage, account development, and customer service.
- Valid Drivers License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Organized, self-disciplined, and motivated.
Pay: Up to $300,000.00 per year commission pay.
Expected hours: 20 50 per week.

Florida Detroit Diesel Allison is searching for a Marine Sales Project Manager.
Position Summary
Responsible for the management and accurate reporting of the production status and costs associated with various manufacturing projects, from project initiation to completion.
Responsibilities
- Manage the entire project life cycle beginning with the sales quotation development and proposal, through production and the post completion warranty period, including joint project P&L responsibility with the sales department.
- Implement and maintain the reports necessary to manage the entire project life cycle.
- Develop and recommend plans for implementation and administration of projects.
- Serve as the customer’s advocate on the project, including coordination of customer communication, and requested project change orders. Ensure customer expectations are met by the company.
- Ensure the company meets customer delivery expectations by anticipating issues and implementing corrective action plans on an ongoing basis. Correct shortfalls in all project goals including delivery, P&L, quality and engineering issues.
- Review new sales contracts to ensure the anticipated Bill of Material (BOM) cost of project and structure matches with manufacturing requirements BOM.
- Conduct post project review to assess the success and/or failure of completed projects. Review findings and evaluate the financial, quality, and production processes of the project and recommend alternatives or adjustments to correct any problems identified, or solidify successes for current and future projects.
- Perform all work in accordance with established quality standards and safety procedures.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree (four year college or university) and/or three to seven years related experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively with others using the spoken word
- Ability to communicate in writing clearly and concisely.
- Ability to take care of the customer’s needs while following company procedures.
- Ability to get along well with a variety of personalities and individuals
- Ability to organize and direct a project to completion.
- Ability to effectively build relationships with customers and co-workers.
- Ability to utilize the available time to organize and complete work within given deadlines.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Computer Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project).
Other Requirements
Negotiation skills required.
Must be knowledgeable of quality systems and their implementation.
Prior manufacturing, production control, project management, and/or sales experience required.
Prior Marine industry experience preferred.
Must be able to understand and manage issues that impact P&L and the balance sheet.

+ Sell marine products to business and industry using exceptional telephone and email communication skills.
