Your focus will be on Engine Control Systems, Air and Thermal Valves, and Air Turbine Start Systems (ATSS), technologies that are essential to aircraft performance and reliability.
What Youll Do:
Youll be a key contributor throughout the entire in-service product lifecycle, including:
• Production support
• Value engineering

As a Senior Advanced Project Engineer on our Engine Controls team, youll play a critical role in supporting in-service products across both commercial and defense platforms. Your focus will be on Engine Control Systems, Air and Thermal Valves, and Air Turbine Start Systems (ATSS), technologies that are essential to aircraft performance and reliability.
What Youll Do:
Youll be a key contributor throughout the entire in-service product lifecycle, including:
• Production support
• Value engineering
• Internal review boards
• Supplier readiness and technical support
Youll work within a small, focused team aligned to a specific value stream, which may include:
• Factory support (revenue enablement, yield improvement)
• Customer engineering investigations (e.g., Notice of Escape evaluations, performance analysis)
• Supplier enablement (transitions, obsolescence, alternative materials)
LOCATION: Tempe, Arizona on a Hybrid work schedule (3 days in office, 2 days work from home).

• Design Authority for Tempe (ATSS and Valve) parts
• Project management performance and execution
• Risk (threats/opportunities) development and management
• Internal/External Customer technical communication and relationships
• Metric reporting
• Hardware supplier technical communication/interface
• Technical problem solving/Root cause analysis
• Technical documentation - Test plans, procedures, and reports
• Analysis of test data results
• Assess customer requirements documentation
• Assess regulatory requirements
• Ability to read and understand detail design drawings
• Proposal development support of estimation of resources and schedule
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE:
• Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
• 5+ years of applied engineering experience.
