A CT Technologist (CT Tech) operates computed tomography (CT) scanners to perform diagnostic imaging procedures for patients. The CT Tech is responsible for obtaining high-quality images of a patient’s body, which are used by physicians to diagnose conditions such as injuries, infections, cancers, and other abnormalities. The CT Tech ensures patient comfort and safety, prepares the imaging equipment, and assists the healthcare team in obtaining diagnostic information.

   Patient Preparation and Communication :

   
   
   
   
   • Prepare patients for CT scans by explaining the procedure, answering any questions, and ensuring they are comfortable.
   
   
   • Verify patient information, including medical history, allergies, and prior imaging, to ensure accurate diagnosis and appropriate imaging protocols.
   
   
   • Position patients properly on the CT table to obtain the necessary images, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.
   
   
   • Instruct patients on how to hold their breath or remain still during scans, as required by the procedure.

   • Operate and calibrate the CT scanner , ensuring proper settings for each scan, including parameters such as radiation dose, slice thickness, and imaging protocols.

   • Monitor the equipment during imaging to ensure high-quality images are captured and that no errors occur during the process.

About the Role:

In this role, you will work on-site from a TurboTax location, serving customers both in-person and virtually using Intuit TurboTax products. You will leverage your tax expertise to provide full service tax return preparation, tax advice, calculations, and software/product support. Your ability to demonstrate understanding of each customer’s unique situation, and connect with them on a personal level is critical to alleviating the stress some may feel when tackling their taxes. Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize tax liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future tax planning advice. Who You Are:

• Have an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 2 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.

• Willing and available to work a static weekly schedule with a minimum of 24 hours per week at a TurboTax location
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax-related content and resources for your community in accordance with Intuit’s policies
