Talkiatry is led clinically by Dr. Georgia Gaveras, a board-certified child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist with an additional board-certification in addiction medicine.

At Talkiatry, that means our psychiatrists are in control of their practice. Our support staff focuses on removing administrative duties, enabling you to spend more of your time on patient care.  It also means providing flexibility in where and when you practice medicine. Our psychiatrists also enjoy control over their hours and schedule. 

We provide in-network, outpatient treatment for children and adults with depressive, anxiety, attention, and other disorders. Talkiatry does not provide intensive outpatient or partial hospitalization programs. We believe that solving the accessibility issues in mental health care begins with taking care of our doctors. We provide solutions to the challenges that psychiatrists are facing - from a lack of front and back-office infrastructure and support in private practice settings to being overworked and underpaid by hospitals, clinics, and other institutions. • Previous emergency or critical care experience preferred, but not required

 As an Emergency & Critical Care Technician , you’ll work directly with our ER doctors and support team to deliver excellent patient care in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting. Your ability to multitask, stay calm under pressure, and act as a patient advocate is key to our mission.

In this role, you will:

• Provide triage and stabilize incoming patients
• Administer IV, IM, SQ, and PO medications
• Assist with diagnostics such as radiographs, bloodwork, and ECGs
• Monitor patients in ICU or undergoing treatments/procedures
• Manage fluid therapy and anesthesia monitoring as needed
