Requirements



  • Proven experience as Repertory Therapist
  • Maintain current CPR or BCLS certification.
  • BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS, or NRP preferred
  • Excellent communication skills with the staff, physicians, patients and families

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Adult Inpatient Treatment Program. This dynamic position requires a commitment to providing exceptional care to patients facing severe mental health and addiction challenges. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to identify and address individual and group needs, utilizing the nursing process to deliver complex nursing care in a supportive environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide comprehensive clinical supervision to Mental Health Workers (MHWs) to ensure the safe and therapeutic delivery of care.
- Implement and monitor individual care plans for patients with co-occurring psychiatric issues, including Depression, Bipolar Disorder, and Anxiety Disorders.
- Participate in medically assisted drug and alcohol withdrawal and stabilization procedures.
- Develop and maintain therapeutic relationships with patients to support recovery and sobriety.
- Be willing to float to other units and take charge shifts as needed.

**Qualifications:**
- A minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with recent inpatient psychiatric experience within the last 3 months (long-term care experience is not acceptable).
- Psych/Behavioral Health experience is essential; candidates must provide age groups and populations served on their resume.
- Willingness to float to other units and assume charge nurse responsibilities.
- First-time travelers are encouraged to apply.

**Submission Requirements:**
- Resume highlighting psychiatric experience and age groups/populations treated.
- Completed Psych Skills Checklist (within the last year).
- Two supervisory references from the last two years of employment.
- Active or pending certifications (CPI preferred; will provide on-site training if required).
- Valid state nursing license and willingness to obtain if necessary.
- Address or driver’s license for submission (note that residents within 35 miles may face a rate decrease).
