**Who You Are**
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
+ A Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, or global equivalent, 8+ years actuarial experience required
+ Knowledge of pertinent laws, regulations, the Actuarial Standards of Practice promulgated by the Actuarial Standards Board, and the Code of Professional Conduct of the AAA and the SoA is required
+ Basic knowledge of actuarial valuation and insurance company financial reporting.

**Salary Range Information**
Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.

**Associate Actuary**
**Location:** This role requires associates to be in-office 1-2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office.

The **Associate Actuary** completes the most diverse and complicated projects and performs highly complex actuarial studies.
**How You Will Make an Impact**
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
+ Performs key actuarial functions including new product pricing, evaluation of the impact of new legislation, flexible benefit consulting, and special projects.
+ Designs and completes special projects such as developing and maintaining experience-rating formulae and creating and/or reviewing alternative settlement formulate and risk sharing models.
+ Responsible for recommendations on pricing, marketing, product design, claims, premium and enrollment administration of business unit.
+ Responsible for valuation support for business unit by interpreting financial results, variances from forecast to help identify product and segment behavior to assist in the risk management of the business unit.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Requires a BA/BS degree and minimum of 4 years related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
+ ASA required from the Society of Actuaries (SOA).
For candidates working in person or virtually in the below location(s), the salary* range for this specific position is $105,640 to $200,160.
