Licensure/Qualifications: Current license to practice professional nursing in NJ. CPR certification as per Hospital policy; IV certification as per Hospital policy. ACLS required, (or within 6 months of employment). Certification in Nursing Administration preferred

The Administrative Supervisor is a registered Professional Nurse who assists in planning, directing, coordinating, and evaluating nursing services on the evening and night shifts. She/he is responsible for the administrative operation of the Department of Nursing on tour. The Administrative Supervisor acts as a representative of Hospital Administration on the assigned tour. Identifies and resolves problems and communicates major or unresolved issues/problems to the appropriate Administrator and/or Nursing service personnel.
