  • Records, engineers and produces audio material for on air broadcast. The material produced includes, but is not limited to, radio station imaging, IDs, locally produced public service announcements, audio elements of specialty shows, audio elements of sports broadcasts, and public service programs (Communication, Critical Thinking, Professionalism and Teamwork )
  • Converts music and audio files to programming specification (Critical Thinking)
  • Assists station staff with any audio production needs and schedules automation (Communication, Critical Thinking, Professionalism)
  • Reports to station manager
Qualifications
  • Current USF student in good standing with an interest in audio production and radio broadcasting. Preference is given to students ProTools software experience.
  • Federal Work Study students are preferred.

We are looking for a Senior Production Manager to join our MSNBC Audio Unit. This role will work across the unit to support multiple projects, managing operational and technical structures that keep the unit moving. The Senior Production Manager will ensure high technical standards, design workflows, mix tape, and manage a small team of engineers. They will also work to build unit cohesion through strong organizational and administrative skills, and collaboration with the external platform partners that showcase our content. The Senior Production Manager will report to and work closely with the unit's Executive Producer to ensure that the department is running smoothly and to make sure our public presence is properly managed. The Senior Production Manager should have an understanding of and interest in news and politics, as well as journalism best practices.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Management/Supervisory Scope: The Technical Director, Video & Audio Production works under the direction of the Director, Multi Media Communication. The Technical Manager is additionally responsible for the direct supervision of the Trinity United Church of Christ Video and Audio team members.

Basic Function: The Technical Director, Video & Audio Production oversees the Technical Ministries and Media of Trinity United Church of Christ and is responsible for creating an atmosphere conducive to worship and technical excellence with a focus on equipping and training team members, and ministry partners to ensure the successful execution of all duties and activities performed related to areas of video and/or audio production. The Technical Ministries include video, audio, lighting, projection, web streaming and media of Trinity United Church of Christ. Duties and Responsibilities:

Video and Audio Production
  • Provides direct supervision management of Video and Audio team members including: setting goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with media plans and Pastor's vision. Organizing workflow and ensuring that team members understand their duties or delegated tasks. Monitoring team productivity and providing constructive feedback and coaching.
  • Coordinates Video and Audio personnel as well as ministry partners for worship services and special events/services ensuring appropriate coverage for all such services/events.
  • Coordinates the recruitment and training of ministry partners in technical ministries ensuring appropriate usage of equipment and resources.
  • Manages and updates video recording and output to be used for all scheduled recording projects.
  • Oversee and coordinate all aspects of worship services production.
  • Develops, implements and maintains procedures, protocols and processes for the Media Technical Ministries.
  • Serves on the Worship Design Team and meets regularly with the Worship Team and other applicable partners to plan production for services.
Technical Management
  • Responsible for the upkeep of Video and Audio technology and equipment on church campus and manages relationship with external vendors for such.
  • Serves as a resource to pastors, staff, Ministry partners, members and guest in regards to technical needs.

Requirements: This position requires an Associate's Degree in Video or Audio Production, Media, and/or Graphic Design. A Bachelor's Degree is preferred, plus three (3) years' experience working in the technical/media ministry of a church of 1,500+ attendance or five (5) years' experience in a church of over 1,000+ attendance (also preferred). The incumbent must possess experience in video production, A/V technology, and graphic design. The incumbent must be proficient with video and/or digital audio mixing consoles, IMAG (image magnification), and basic lighting design.

The incumbent must possess effective oral and written communications skills. The incumbent must be a self-start, team-oriented, organized, and possess strong interpersonal communications skills. The incumbent must possess the ability to work independently on projects and possess the ability to thrive within the framework of a large team of volunteers and staff. Strong organizational skills and interpersonal communications skills are required, and the incumbent must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of staff and ministry partners.

Work Schedule: The Technical Director, Audio and Video Production shall generally work forty to forty-five (40-45) hours each week, Tuesday through Sunday (including some early mornings and late evenings) and must be available during the week as well for planning, video production and technical maintenance in accordance with the schedule personally arranged, and mutually agreed to with the Director, Multi Media Communication.

Responsible for scheduling Production Center Technical Specialists in the Coordinator's assigned area/division. Coordinates regional high skilled workforce requests across production, venue, and offsite operations, while ensuring a high level of customer service. This individual will strive to enhance the quality of the existing workforce through efficient planning, coordination, and training to reduce costs, increase labor efficiency, and improve both internal and external customer service. This position will support the Technical Specialist's direct supervisor. Reporting to a Regional Workforce Manager, this position will also consult with the Director, Workforce Production and Specialty Services.
Key Job Responsibilities
Workforce Coordination
- Works with Project Managers and venue locations to schedule upcoming high skilled workforce needs.
- Works with Project Managers on obtaining scheduling information well in advance of event start date, according to current SOPs, and proper utilization of scheduling systems.
- Schedule Technical Specialists 4-6 weeks ahead, with 85%+ hours working operator positions in their core discipline.
- Works closely with Production Workforce Coordinators in other divisions to travel and utilize Technical Specialists outside of home market as needed.
- Assess labor requirements and make recommendations that would reduce the labor broker usage by matching appropriate skillsets with the requirements. Collaborate with the market workforce team to support production events with internal workforce.
Customer Service
- Works closely with multiple departments (Project Managers, Producers, National Production Workforce Manager, Venue Leadership) to better understand their labor needs and provide support to help them take advantage of regional high skilled labor resources.
- Aim to improve the satisfaction and support for regional locations and exceed expectations wherever possible.
- Implement and maintain professional development guidelines outlined by our corporate teams and ensure service standards are always upheld.
- Participate in regular reviews of our labor brokers to ensure that these guidelines are implemented and maintained.

**Position Overview**
The Technical Specialist is responsible for the technical set up and operation of enhanced mid-level production events in a hospitality environment, while ensuring the utmost in client satisfaction. This position reports to an Associate Director of Project Management or Director of Project Management in their assigned area.
**Key Job Responsibilities**
_Equipment Operation_
- Ensures a flawlessly executed event through accurate and timely setup, operation, and breakdown of advanced audiovisual equipment as listed in the technical qualifications section.
- Troubleshoots technical issues and resolve problems quickly as they arise.
- Complies with all Company security and safety measures.
- Ensures equipment is secure from theft and/or damage when in use.
_Customer Service_

_Event Supervision_

- Assists team with proper security, storage, inventory, transportation, and maintenance of equipment.
- Performs inventory and forecasting of equipment needs.
**Job Qualifications**
- Bachelor's Degree is preferred
- 3+ years of event technology experience with specialty in Audio, Lighting, Projection, or Video is required
- 3-4 years of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.

Job Summary:

The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving the sales efforts of their assigned venue. This position will act as front-line sales for the venue sales team and will be responsible for generating all scope of work (SOW) and contracts for their leads. The Sales Manager will be tasked to move leads through their respective sales funnel using our Companys proprietary sales process, focusing on connection, prequalification, solutions, and more. Business hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with extended business hours and weekends required.

Essential Functions:

  • Serve as a sales subject matter expert and ambassador for the designated hotel sales team.
  • Generate and revise the scope of work, quotes, proposals and contracts based on the needs of
  • venue leads requiring AV products and services.
  • Utilize the Companys proprietary sales process as directed by the National Director of Venue
  • Sales and/or Venue Director of Sales, including the prequalification of leads, quote generation, timely contract confirmations, pricing and service negotiations, follow-up, and more.
  • Build a deep knowledge of Pinnacle Lives products and offerings; display a passion for learning and understanding new technologies.
  • Provide hotel leads with necessary resources, i.e., layouts, renderings and visuals, product suggestions, etc.
  • Enter all pertinent client information into Pinnacle Lives CRM platform, and develop and drive an individual sales strategy that includes individual and team funnel, and sales activity reporting. Communicate and collaborate effectively with the In-Venue Sales team and the National Director of Venue Sales.
  • Focus on building outstanding relationships, lines of communication, and trust within the hotel sales team and Pinnacle Live internal teams.
  • Represent Pinnacle Live and hotel venue during site visits, planning meetings, pre-convention and debrief meetings.
  • Deliver Gold Standard customer experiences throughout the sales process, event execution, and post-event follow-up.
  • Manage accurate and timely billing of events and clients.
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Education & Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in business or a related field
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a customer service-facing role; prior sales experience in the hospitality industry preferred
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms, ability to generate high-quality insights into sales activity and progress
  • Production and Staging experience are preferred
  • Scenic and De?cor experience is preferred
  • Rigging, Electrical, and Exhibit experience is preferred.
