- Perform server administration tasks, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, print services, research event log warnings and errors, and resource monitoring, ensuring system architecture components work together seamlessly
- Microsoft Office 365 Exchange email account creation, administration and monitoring
- Microsoft Azure Active directory administration including Azure Cloud tenant network operation and maintenance
- Microsoft Defender, EndPoint and Sentinel installation, configuration and administration
- Nurture dependable IT infrastructure and networking thats always up and running

- Bachelor's degree in technology or computer science
- 4-5 years of experience as a Systems Administrator
- Experience with or knowledge of programming languages and operating systems; current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, system performance-monitoring tools, active directories, and virtualization
- Experience in project management, application design and integration, cloud computing (specifically Microsoft Azure), VMware, Hyper-V, or similar hypervisors a plus
- Expertise in creating, analyzing, and repairing large-scale distributed systems
- Hands-on experience with Office365
- Experience with Microsoft Intune or similar platform
- Excellent client management/resolution, problem solving, debugging/troubleshooting skills are required
- Excellent verbal communications and written documentation skills are required

This role is focused on building and maintaining secure, scalable, and resilient cloud solutions within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem , while ensuring alignment with internal governance, compliance standards, and risk management goals.
The Cloud Architect will collaborate closely with multiple technical and business teams-including infrastructure, enterprise systems, cybersecurity, and records/governance-to ensure that the firm's cloud environment meets regulatory and industry best practices.

In this capacity, the Azure Cloud Architect will:
- Cloud Architecture & Strategy
- Develop automation scripts for repeatable deployments;
- Define tagging, cost controls, policy enforcement, and identity/access management (IAM) strategies;
- Collaboration & Support
- Partner with application owners, IT infrastructure, and security teams to ensure smooth migration and ongoing operations of workloads in Azure;
- Support investigations, incident response, and security audits involving cloud assets;
- Innovation & Optimization
- Continuously evaluate new Azure services, automation capabilities, and tools to enhance productivity and reduce risk;
- Guide optimization of cost, performance, and operational efficiency across the Azure estate;
- Security & Compliance
- Implement and govern security best practices including Azure Policy, Azure Key Vault, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), and Azure Security Center;
- Collaborate with Information Security to enforce encryption (at rest/in transit), DLP, Conditional Access, and Zero Trust principles; and
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks, such as ISO 27001.
- Expert proficiency in deployment and optimization of Azure services including networking (VNet, NSG, Azure Firewall, Express Route), identity (Entra ID), compute (VMs, AVD), and storage (Blob, Files, Disk);
- Expert proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), scripting (PowerShell), and DevOps pipelines;
- Familiarity with secure collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Purview, Intune, Conditional Access); and
- Proven experience in regulated or security-sensitive environments.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Advanced degree (preferred);
- 7+ years of IT infrastructure or cloud experience, with 4+ years focused on Azure cloud architecture; and
- Relevant certifications, such as:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer; and
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent.
