As part of the Financial Markets Business Advisory team you advise clients on complex financial structures and securitizations. As a Director, you set the strategic direction and lead business development efforts, focusing on impactful decision making and executive-level client relations. You drive business growth, shape client engagements, and mentor the future leaders while fostering an environment where people and technology thrive together.

- Bachelor's Degree
- 8 years of experience
- One or more of the following credentials or certifications is required: CPA License, Level 3 of the CFA, JD, PhD, MBA or Masters degree in Finance, Tax, Quantitative Statistics, Financial Engineering, Economics, Real Estate Finance or Hospitality A State Appraiser License, Member of Appraisal Institute (MAI), Member of American Society of Appraisers (ASA) or achieve certification of CRE, CRI and/or CCIM, CHA, or PMP
- Master's Degree in Accounting, Accounting & Finance, Finance, Mathematics, Real Estate, Engineering, Engineering and Business preferred
- Advising clients on complex financial structures
- Performing valuation analysis of financial instruments
- Assessing soundness of valuations and financial models
- Creating/reviewing independent financial models
- Researching and analyzing client, industry, and financial matters
- Developing and utilizing complex financial models
- Utilizing industry software like INTEX, TREPP, Bloomberg
- Applying accounting treatments of financial products
- Communicating effectively in a professional services environment

The salary range for this position is: $134,000 - $410,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. KPMG is currently seeking a Director in Customer & Operations Banking for our Consulting practice.
Responsibilities :
- Advise clients on revenue enhancements or operational efficiencies/scalability through the design and implementation of customized operating models in Loan Operations
- Conduct current state assessments, perform industry/competitor research, develop gap assessments, and design target state operating models
- Lead KPMG teams through daily execution of activities, deliverables, project plans, and client presentations with a focus on Banking & Loan Operations (originations and servicing)
- Lead business development efforts for primary target clients
- Support proposal and business development activities by identifying new target clients, building business relationships with key executives, and developing/presenting proposals
- A minimum of eight years of experience in Banking & Loan Operations (AFS Vision / nCino) technology project management, business process, process delivery and/or information systems within an audit, tax, and/or advisory firm
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Accounting, Business, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited college/university
- Experience with AFS Vision or nCino systems implementations and integrations
- Demonstrated ability to assess and enhance processes within an organization and knowledge of challenges faced by implementation teams along with demonstrated track record of leadership, client management, and project management skills
- Advanced knowledge of Financial Services industry, preferably in the Banking sectors
- Ability to formulate and express ideas clearly and effectively in verbal and written presentations
- Travel may be up to 80-100%
