**What We Need:**
We're seeking a skilled Broadcast Producer assist with the planning and production of live and pre-recorded radio shows featuring news, music, talk, sports, traffic and feature productions
**What You'll Do:**
+ Generate original ideas, encourage ideation from others, and carry out thorough research
+ Research information, obtain materials and assist with contacting and scheduling guests
+ Give direction to presenters, content providers, assistants and other crew members
+ Manage budgets and ensure the efficient use of resources

+ Monitor listener emails, inquiries and responses related to shows

**Duties & Responsibilities**
+ Provide technical support and the application of best practices in the field of AV engineering, supporting all related disciplines such as troubleshooting, monitoring, calibration, maintenance support, and documentation
+ Interact with Engineering Management, Broadcast Engineers and Sr. Broadcast Engineers ensuring common technological solutions and workflows are maintained
+ Maintain SOPs for safety, maintenance, and use of venues
+ Identify challenges in event support and work with Sr. Broadcast Engineers and engineering management to recommend new options and opportunities
+ Coordinate with the maintenance engineering team in repair, replacement, or creation of engineered solutions of equipment and infrastructure as needed to keep integrated systems and enterprise technology functional and performing to industry standards
+ Use advanced troubleshooting best practices and root cause analysis to identify weaknesses, minimizing recurrence, and improve future design and integration
+ Coordinate and oversee the repair and replacement of equipment working with the in-house maintenance team as well as third party vendors, service personnel and/or outside contractors

**Skills & Qualifications**
+ In-depth knowledge of legacy and state-of-the industry multimedia systems and equipment used in best-in-class event centers

+ An overall understanding of the live program production process is necessary and a strong sense of urgency in solving customer requests to ensure timely resolution is critical

As a Broadcast Services Engineer, the individual will participate in design, development implementation and support of GM's meeting and collaboration services, including Operational support, process improvement, solution creation and deployment. The successful candidate must be able to drive improvement through quality initiatives, including metrics development, monitoring and corrective action for deficiencies.
Team members must work cross-functionally between operations, engineering teams, and end-user support teams. The person contributes and develops communication materials, service and operational level agreements, internal specifications documents, project planning documents, end-user communication and other written forms necessary to manage a service. It is expected that they will provide regular updates to project managers, program managers, or management regarding status of open projects, initiatives or services.
Important capabilities are to partner with cross-geographic teams as well as manifesting a great understanding for cultural diversity. Must have excellent language and customer service skills. Handle stressful situations in a professional manner and be creative in problem resolution. Successful applicants should understand and track industry trends, standards, current technologies, and policies and can articulate the effects of these trends in our broadcast services space.
This Position may require the person to work a flexible shift structure. The Shift Structure will follow our service based on working hours utilizing video and digital signage locations. Engineers may operate in a small team of engineers per shift and will sustain the video services on a 24 x 7 basis.
**What You'll Do:**
+ Work in a collaborative team environment which requires high interaction with senior level executives and support personnel.
+ Quickly identify and troubleshoot issues related to equipment and systems to minimize disruptions.

+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field
+ 10 years of technical experience or educational equivalent, including entry level knowledge in at least one Telecom area (Data, Voice, Video or Applied Networking)

+ Supports Director of Technology with supervision of engineering staff members as needed.
+ Maintains station operation through preventive and corrective maintenance.
+ Establishes and follows routine maintenance procedures and schedules for all broadcast equipment.
+ Works with Radio programming, TV news and Operations department to maintain broadcast equipment as needed.
+ Ensures station compliance with rules and regulations applicable to FCC, local, state, and federal, laws.
+ Performs necessary measurements of equipment performance.
+ Installs and performs maintenance on control consoles, audio routers, recording equipment, microphones, digital audio systems, transmitters, antennas, control systems, remote equipment, etc. Provides maintenance/support of computer networks and related systems.
YOU HAVE:
+ Basic knowledge of applicable FCC rules and regulations
+ Television automation experience
+ Working knowledge of computer networking technology.
+ Ability to troubleshoot broadcast equipment to the component level.
+ Knowledge of high-power FM and TV transmitting facilities.
+ Familiarity with RCS-Zetta and Avid software/hardware products a plus.
+ Knowledge of generators and UPS systems.
+ Ability to read and interpret design documentation, including elevations, connection drawings and schematics.
+ Associate Degree in Electronics, Communications, or equivalent combination of education, Military training in electronics/communications technology and work-related experience.
+ Minimum 3 years Broadcast experience with TV/Radio Studio and transmission facilities.
+ SBE Certification preferred.
+ Valid driver's license and an insurable driving record required.
+ Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs.
+ Ability to climb ladders and working on elevated surfaces (e.g. rooftops).
+ Manual dexterity for soldering, use of hand tools and working on small components.
+ Ability to be on-call to respond to studio and transmission systems failures at remote transmitting locations.
+ Must be willing to work from office in Houston, TX
+ Must be willing to work a rotating shift schedule.
+ Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States

As Senior Technician, Broadcast you will lead the Broadcast Technical Team. You be responsible for maintaining a high quality shipboard broadcast product including the operation and programming of all shipwide control systems, TV output, filming and editing and audio visual support for live events.

**Responsibilities :**
+ Lead the Broadcast team providing training, performance coaching, recognition, and feedback including documented conversations and coachings
+ Daily managing of the Broadcast department including TV output, filming and editing, upkeep and testing of the Emergency Paging System, operation of BGM and movie showings and audio visual support for live events
+ Ensure the operation and programming of broadcast and shipwide control systems, TV content, 35mm movie projection, LED screens, videography and editing is meticulous
+ Responsible for maintaining a high quality shipboard broadcast product through the operation of shipwide video systems, including video cameras and switchers
+ Coordinate and assist in the preventative maintenance and routine repair of all Broadcast and projection equipment including all ship-wide televisions
+ Program and maintain the automated scheduling and video server playback systems
+ Update Coolsign media player
+ Decrypt new movies and sitcoms for the movie channel and movie schedule

**Basic Qualifications :**
+ Minimum five years' experience in a relevant shipboard or applicable shore side position
+ Expertise with professional broadcast equipment including video cameras, VTR, and editing systems

+ Proven experience of operation and maintenance of computer-based broadcast and/or control systems
